Love that we were offered a continental breakfast, it was enough to get you started for the day. Plenty of microwaves for you to use as you want. I would have liked the breakfast to be available at least until 10am+ so that I didn't have to wake up so early. The staff was very nice and the hotel was neat. Free coffee/tea and hot chocolate all day. Some fruits available throughout the day. We walked the avenue a few times, enjoyed having foods at many of their restaurants. One nite they had a live band by the hotel. Every month they have different activities for entertainment. My favorite restaurant so far was the simplest one, "The Cure" it has a very extensive menu at a very reasonable price. Their poached eggs are "perfection achieved" loved them. And "La Taqueria and Del Tacos" were good too. I also found the best Tres Leche Cake that I have had in a very long time at many Mexican restaurants there but my favorite was at Del Tacos for $5.99 you get a big piece enough to share with a few people. I bought 3 cakes to bring back home. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my visit to Stroudsburg, enough to do it again in a few years. We wanted a place to relax, low stress without us rushing to do anything and we got what we wanted. Fyi, walk a few blocks an you'll find a CVS, McDonald's, KentuckyFC, Wawa, a Convenience Store, a City Pool etc all nearby if you don't mind walking. We love to walk, we are New Yorkers LOL, or get an Uber or the bus in front of the hotel for a few bucks. Seniors 65yrs+ ride the bus for free.
No major COMPLAINTS at all. The Only thing that I WISH it had was a small swimming pool. And for the breakfast to end after 10am, as of now it ends at 9am....

Staff was lovely and accommodating, the hotel was on the main street where you could walk to about anything you need. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Go visit grandpa’s Joe’s Candy shop. Also, there’s a nice bookstore and the Irish bar on the corner has delicious food. There’s a Starbucks pretty close by and the hotel has breakfast in the morning, some bagels and cream cheese, and muffins.
Know that if you were going to have a room that is directly across from the corner Irish bar that there will be noise throughout the night dying off at about 3 Am we experienced on Friday night. Saturday was calmer.

First, Kyir and the front desk gal were just amazing at check-in. So friendly & welcoming. The facility looks so clean and orderly, the halls were in perfect shape...no wear and tear. Our room 310 was just perfect...Great bed, loved extra pillows. Bathroom was almost perfect w 2 exceptions. We were amazed at how nice your property is maintained...I'm a retired project manager from The Borgata Casino so I have a good eye for detail. We checked out, walked the sweet town & took the managers recommendation to check out Cafe Duet...amazing. we then returned needing to use the restroom and realized we left food in the fridge...the front desk agent was just as nice as the one the event g prior. Kudos to your staff!!
Bathroom door in 310 squeaked badly and inside of bathroom door isn't painted. Room darkening curtains had tons of pinholes.

I was pleased with the hotel's cleanliness. The rooms were well-maintained and spotless, which immediately made a positive impression. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in ensuring a clean and comfortable environment throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. From the receptionists to the waitstaff, everyone I encountered was polite and willing to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their exceptional customer service undoubtedly enhanced the overall experience. However, I did have a couple of concerns regarding the room. Firstly, the pillow provided was not as comfortable as I had hoped. It lacked the necessary fluffiness and support, which affected my sleep quality. Although this may be subjective, I believe a more comfortable pillow could greatly improve the overall comfort of the room. Furthermore, the room had a rather small window that allowed very little natural light to enter. As a result, the room felt a bit dim and lacked the brightness I prefer. It would have been more pleasant to have a larger window that could let in more daylight, creating a brighter and more inviting atmosphere. Despite these shortcomings, I still appreciated the hotel's cleanliness and the genuine friendliness of the staff. If they can address the issues with the pillow comfort and improve the amount of natural light in the rooms, it would greatly enhance the overall experience for future guests.
The pillows and the little natural light, but I stayed only a night and it was good

the location
The fact we didn’t know their was a Winterfest going on and we couldn’t figure out how to get into the parking lot because it said road closed and everyone was standing in the street. I called to ask and all it was said to me is it’s closed up the road not like the road is closed but you still can go through because the lot isn’t too far after closed sign. We got checked into the hotel at 4 when road was open again :( we were there for an early show at the Sherman so we did not get to spend time on hotel before we rushed off. Disappointing of the deal letdown was more clear it would have been different.

Nice, big room, perfectly clean and comfortable. Courteous staff. No restaurant or bar but these are right outside anyway - great location. Far nicer than certain alternatives there. Has a gym and continental style breakfast.
A little pricey at 304 dollars for the night considering there are no facilities. Could do with a couple of glasses or cups to go with the ice bucket in the room. A fair amount of (albeit good natured) noise from Bar across the road and a fair bit of walking around noise early in the morning from above. Breakfast has no cooked options. Still really nice though, maybe a little pricey.

I must say for a two star hotel I was quite impressed. The check in was smooth and the entire staff was amazingly friendly. I didn’t get all their names but I did get one name. Maria was super, super sweet. But they all were. The breakfast was also good. And the kitchen area was beautiful and very clean. We were able to buy outside food and sit comfortably in the kitchen/dining area and eat our dinner. The rooms are very clean and nicer than many of the hotels I’ve stayed in. The beds were so comfortable I hated to leave. The location was great, lots of restaurants within walking distance and 5 minutes from the Walmart. Also very close The Crossings Outlet.
It would be great if they had microwaves in the rooms.

From the time of our arrival, the front desk was warm and welcoming. A smooth check-in and provided us with a parking pass. Informed us about where the ice machine was located, where at and what time Contentinal Breaskfast was available, etc.. The hotel lobby, elevators, and our room were spotless. The beds are very clean and comfortable. Check out was easy breezy. I have already highly recommended your hotel for any upcoming Family/Friend stays. We will be back again. Thank you for an exceptional stay!!!

The location is fantastic and close to eating places--we always have breakfast at The Cure where my son recognized Nicole the waitress who is a very wonderful person to talk to and also the pancake house which this time we didn't frequent. We had lunch at a very nice restaurant not too far from the University and had dinner at a restaurant around the corner from the hotel which again the food was fantastic!!
The only problem was the young housekeeper and guest services person who took my money and didn't do anything about having my room cleaned after both said it would get done. I'm very pleased and appreciative that the owner and the head lady of maintenance apologized and got everything taken care.

Rooms & beds very comfy. Breakfast was continental -- mostly cold items but fresh, varied, plentiful and well-attended. Location is convenient for walking to local eateries--this "downtown" is not elegant but definitely has some charms.
Frequently there were no staff people at the desk, although they didn't seem to be gone for long. Rooms were bland decor wise, but very comfy with all the usual amenities. Breakfast was great, but finding it was rather difficult--better signage needed. Also some days there were non-dairy options, some days not. Also there was no printed info about either the hotel nor the area, which I thought was odd. The entry space is not particularly welcoming, but the rooms were nice. None of these minor issues really interfered with enjoying our 3 day trip.
