Location was 1/2 mile away from our event; pet-friendly, clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful over the phone as was the booking service. Definitely affordable leaving us with plenty of savings to hit a diner in Snydersville for a mid-morning breakfast. The only problem we encountered was that we had arrived at the Glenwood late and had difficulty finding our room in the dark and our shower didn't have water. Because we were late getting on-site, however, we were unable to do a room change, altho we were so tired, it was not that big a deal since we had planned an early departure anyway.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This is a locally owned, family run place, which I love. Very accessible to multiple outdoor activities in the area. Rooms and grounds are no frills, but for the price and what we needed, it was perfect. Rooms, conference area, and pool/hot tub were clean and refreshing after a long day.

Toilet had slow leak that caused it to fill tank couple of times an hour. Noisy. Venetian blinds did not close. No curtains for privacy. Walls paper-thin. Sound from neighbors was not a problem, but there was little sound insulation.

Excellent location to explore the local area. This hotel is perfect for a hiking, skiing or just a weekend get-away. The staff were very friendly and honest. We were able to bring our dog and had a great time.

The mattresses were a little stiff but not unbearable.

We wanted to get away from new york. Pennsylvania is beautiful all on its own. We took our 8 year old son and we love the outdoors. This place is perfect for a family who is looking for a little adventure. It looked like they were re renovating the place and it gave it a unique touch. It was very spacious and had a lot of land and trails to walk on along side of the river. Their pool and jacuzzi was great as well. Definitely worth it.

Loved the owners and the beautifully clean room my family shared. The entire experience was one we will never forget. The owners (John and his family) do all the upkeep themselves. They are meticulous, responsible and left no stone unturned to provide our family with a happy and safe vacation. We had a lovely new smart TV in our room and enjoyed family fun night at the motel. They provided us with fresh clean linens and towels. Complimentary H2O Spa product line provided to us, which included a full line of Shampoo/Conditioner/Bath Gel and Body Lotion, that made me feel like a million bucks. The lodging was close to great food and fun. My husband and I fell in love all over again. Our children were happy and the pool was amazing! I could go on and on. We were sad when our weekend ended and vowed to go back soon. Everyone should give Glenwood a chance. We went back in time, a good time, when life was simple. Our time there was pure tranquility. We will go back for years to come.

Staff was very nice and our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The location is right in the heart of the water gap so easy to get to all of what the Poconos has to offer. Really cute little shop with awesome pies around the corner. We were traveling with our 16 week old golden retriever and he enjoyed it, asl well! We liked it a lot, so this is not a con - but the Inn does sit across from the Overlook Hotel, remember The Shining? We just walked around it at night and spooked each other out. The man at the front desk said it was built in the 1800’s, very cool. We had a lot of fun there and will definitely stay again.

John was very attentive and kind! The property is amazing, reminded me of the Poconos of yore. Watched some stars in the open field behind the property and went swimming the next day in the indoor pool! Definitely would recommend

Staff are very honest and clearly hardworking. Room was clean and spacious. It is a convenient two-minute walk from PA's only sake brewery. Great value for a graduation weekend.

Towels were very thin and low quality. There was no alarm clock in the room. We considered upgrading to the king room, but it was actually smaller and had one less chair than the standard double.

The location was great no more than 15 min away from where we wanted to visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful. l was very happy that we could check the room out before we paid for it. Very piece full and quiet location. Enjoy walking the trail behind the motel.
