i have been taking my little one skiing annually. I was here last year the floors in the room were scary to even step on as the carpet looked like it hasn’t been cleaned from the 1970s. I recently read a few reviews that said the rooms were renovated and decided to give them another try. I can vouch the rooms are now much better and no more carpet!!! indoor pool and hot tub that closes at 10pm! 5 minutes from Shawnee mountain can’t be beat. the breakfast was great and reasonably priced! I am happy I gave them a second chance and would definitely stay here again for our next trip!

Our 2 night stay was for New Year's Eve. The staff is fantastic. Every person we met from the housekeeping crew to the manager were incredibly friendly, polite and accommodating. They all went the extra mile to assure a great New Year's celebration for all of the guests. Dining options were good and the food was definitely above average. We ate at the Shawnee Craft Brewery, the Bakery and the River Room.

Given the age of the resort, it is overall very well taken care of. That being said, there were things that you would expect from an older resort; chipped and cracked paint (although they were re-painting several areas during our visit), worn carpeting in common areas, and pretty banged up furniture in some of the guest rooms. The beds and bathrooms were very clean and the Wi-Fi worked very well, which was good because cell phone reception is sparse.

As soon as I walk in I waited to be checked in and the manager who was extremely friendly and bubbly walks to me and ask if he can help me with anything and made sure I was being helped. The hotel has such charm and is unique. The room was a comfortable size for 2 and the view was amazing! Beautifully decorated for the holidays. The Shawnee Brewery had live music and unique beer taps. Last day of our stay we had breakfast at the RiverRoom and the view of where we were seated was unbelievable! The food was served buffet style and had amazing choices of different meats, fruits, pancakes frenchtoasts cereals you name it! The hotel also had a bakery which had a hot cocoa bar for the holidays which was fantastic. Wonderful stay and will definitely be going back!

The sheets were a bit dirty unfortunately but nothing to really bring any attention to.

Wonderful location in nature by the river, vintage feel to the facilities, and yet very comfortable. Staff is exceptional!!- friendly and accommodating. There are plenty of activities on the premises, that are included in the price of the stay- hiking, archery, canoeing in the summer. There are a few different in and outside restaurants, coffee shop with bakery, pool and hot tub. i stayed in the summer and wanted to see the place during Fall holidays, and it was still wonderful and handled well the busy season. Very refreshing.

The room was rather small, but it is because it’s an old building. The furniture could’ve been arranged a bit better for more space.

The staff was so accommodating, welcoming, and helpful. From the moment we checked in and even after check out. We interacted with Destiny many times and she was so helpful, especially after we realized we left one of our sneaker bags there. She made sure it was located and shipped out quickly.

The only thing I wished they had at the INN would be an outdoor pool for the kids. Otherwise, it was an overall great stay!

Nice location just off 209--the main highway between East Stroudsburg and Bushkill Falls. Nice secluded resort on golf course. Room had lake view. Nice room. Clean. Comfortable bed. Good, attentive service. Vintage, classic vibes throughout place. Cool Brewpub and Brewery on grounds.

Cold pool. Very small fitness center. A lot if golfers all around (if you're not a golfer can feel out of place). Definitely walks a razor thin line between vintage and old/rundown.

The inn is beautiful with a lots of charm, clean, grounds are beautyful, tranquil river, mountains, very well kept

our room was a bit small and had no view at all... 8n that beautiful surrounding I expected to see something but the window was whited out, when we opened it, we saw a roof only... that was disappointing for that price

Property was an excellent location for hiking & kayaking. Many activities to do at the property.

Air conditioner didn’t work well in our room. Had a window unit that was in the one window when we got there. At night if we had the light on, the bugs got in. Lots of bugs on the ceiling & walls near the window with the ac unit.

The location is beautiful and the history behind the inn is quite detailed. The breakfast buffet had lots of delicious choices including fresh fruits and pastries. The hotel might have one of the largest indoor pools I have ever seen.

The website says that the pool is recently renovated. However, it's missing tiles and cracked in several places. It could also use a fresh coat of paint and vaccuming. The room was recently updated but several floor boards are coming up and you can catch you foot with the lights off.
