Exceptional stay. Wonderful and courteous staff. Very clean room. (We chose a suite for our stay.) Very comfy beds. Extremely quiet and slept like a baby. Very nice set up for their complementary breakfast. (The attendant kept everything full and worked hard to accommodate the guests.) It is clear that this hotel aims to please. During our stay we took the time to walk the streets of Easton. Very old and historic architecture, pretty views of the Delaware river, and a walk up the famous stairway to Lafayette College to see a high view of the city of Easton. We will definitely chose the Historic Grand Eastonian Hotel for our next visit. They made us feel welcomed and at home.

We loved EVERYTHING.

This Booking was a two-bedroom apartment, suite with two baths, living room, kitchen, dining room, for my wife and I plus my daughter-in-law and grandson for less than two separate rooms would have cost. It was outstandingly comfortable. The pool was great, It was a 3-star hotel so there was no restaurant or bar, but downtown Easton easily made up for that within short walking distance.

When I booked the room Bookings.com said the suite also had a balcony overlooking the Rivers, but that was not the room they gave me. All of our five windows did overlook the water, but the only room with a balcony would have been the floor above us. I am used to booking.com room descriptions exceeding what the property has available when I check-in. ,

Our suite was huge and filled with light, with plenty of space to stow things. There were a couple of issues when we arrived - for example, the screens to the balcony door were badly torn. But a very friendly staffer came up and had them replaced with new screens by the end of the day, so we couldn't ask for more. The view from our room, especially the balcony, was really pretty. The bathroom was great, with plenty of space, a large shower and a separate, large whirlpool tub.

The sofa bed was absolutely terrible - you can feel the coils just by running your hand over it, let alone sleeping on it. Also, the shades are good for privacy but don't keep out any light at all, so the little ones were awake very early. Also, the breakfast room was a bit dim and small, and a little more healthy variety would be appreciated. Another minor annoyance is that the key cards stopped working once a day, so we always needed to go have them fixed at the front desk. Finally, the air conditioning is very loud when it comes on, which was annoying throughout the night.

Excellent location near very good restaurants. Spacious. Very friendly. Lovely rooftop terrace. Very quiet, except for breakfast room. I was able to open the window in our bedroom, a real bonus. Free and easy parking.

Very difficult to unload luggage and move it into the hotel which is up three or four steps. There's no pullout in the narrow street, so your car is blocking the street if you park there to unload and check in, and there's no one to assist you. You cannot park in the hotel parking lot without a pass code -- which you get when you check in. Seems like there could be an easier way.

This is a very old hotel, not a cookie-cutter chain, that has been remodeled into a beautiful building. Our room was very large, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful in answering my questions since I had never been to this small city. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from the city's square so there were countless restaurants, bars, entertainment and shopping. This hotel also has a very nice indoor pool and fitness center that I enjoyed tremendously. The breakfast was good with several hot and cold options. I would definitely choose this hotel for another stay in Easton.

For breakfast there should be some juice options. I didn't see any. Everything else was excellent.

The location in the downtown area was near small shops and restaurants. Parking was adjacent to the hotel and in a secure lot. The area was very clean and walkable. The room was fabulous, far exceeding what we have experienced in a queen suite. The accommodations were very comfortable, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The views from the suite were peaceful and beautiful as the riverfront was close by. Quite idyllic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book a room at the Grand Eastonian Hotel and Suites again.

As we were involved in a long moving trip, we did not get a chance to experience breakfast. If the weekend breakfast hours were the same as the weekday, then we would have taken advantage of the breakfast.

I loved the history behind the building my husband and I walked around the hotel and looked at all the old photos and objects In the hotel . They have an old mailbox with letters in it and they open it every 10 years it’s like a time capsule. The staff was absolutely professional and really nice. I live in Pennsylvania and just now learned so much about Easton’s History.

There was no bacon or sausage with breakfast other than that I really have no complaints

Liked hanging out with friends on the patio. Fireplace didn't work. it would have been nice if the HUGE refrigerator had an icemaker, instead of having to go down to the ground floor from the 4th floor.

Breakfast selections could have been better. What was there was good. We've stayed at The Eastonian many times. The room we had for this stay (406) was well worth the rate we paid ($206 + tax). However, sometimes the rate charged is way out of line with the accomodations. One time we paid over $300 + tax for room 203 . . .which is ridiculous.

Two Suggestions: 1. The EV charger indicates the cost to charge is $1.50 per kilowatt hour - that is exceptionally expensive. After discussing the price with the hotel staff, I learn the price is probably $1.50 per hour of charging. The sign should be changed to reflect the "true" price - I did not use the charger because of the price confusion. 2. The key box for access to the parking area might be moved about 6 inches closer to the road - it is very difficult to access from a car.

Comfortable bed, high ceilings, amazing bathroom space, great location (just walk out and shops are there!). This was my first time here and I did not expect it to be so nice for the price.

The walls were a little thin. Could hear so much from each neighbor and it seemed like everyone wanted to slam doors. The free breakfast was just some muffins, oatmeal and coffee the one day we went which was disappointing.
