Hyatt Place Bethlehem-Downtown

Room was perfect for our stay - I definitely wanted a couch/sitting area separate from the sleeping area, and this did the trick. Shanice (front desk) was super super friendly and very helpful in explaining the parking system.

If you are advertising "Hot breakfast until 9 a.m." then you need to provide FOOD until 9 a.m. We arrived at 8:40 only to be told that what was left was it - she wasn't going to be cooking anything more. I'm sorry, but when there are 6 to 8 people milling about trying to find something HOT to eat, you need to provide them the food promised. There was exactly one small scoop of scrambled eggs - no bacon, 2 breakfast sandwiches, a bowl of hot oatmeal, and 2 ... yes 2 ... slices of bread!! Totally unacceptable. Yes, there were plenty of places we could have eaten for breakfast, but when you are on a budget you pick hotels that offer free HOT breakfast. Total fail here.

Lobby, restaurant, room upon arrival all appeared clean. Downtown location and access to nearby parking garage are great. Included breakfast is good with hot, cold and healthy offerings.

During my 2-night stay my room was not cleaned/serviced. I did not like the taste of the in-room coffee and, although it was helped on the second day by using liquid creamers from the hotel's restaurant, I would suggest a different/better brand. Also, it would be helpful to provide instructions on where to park your car in the garage for easy access to the hotel. I found it very confusing and had to stop on multiple levels to figure out where to park that conveniently allowed for moving luggage.

The staff was exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They were so personable! The room was spacious, clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We arrived from hours of car travel from Florida later at night, and the staff was helpful and accommodating, providing us with information on what restaurant was still open nearby, walking distance. Due to Hurricane Nicole in Florida, we had to cut our stay short, unfortunately, and the staff was understanding and once more very accommodating. Coffee always fresh and available, breakfast was not bad either. Oh, by the way, we survived once more, another hurricane in Florida... but cannot wait to get back to Bethlehem, PA!

Overall it was a great experience, except for the cracked tiles in the bathroom and tiny shower, but we managed. The view was not great, however the location was perfect close to everything downtown. Although we did not feel uncomfortable walking downtown at night, number of people out, outdoor eateries, etc, we did notice some homeless hanging around looking for help.

Great location near almost every tourist places to visit restaurants, bars and shopping. If you stay for 1 night I will recommend but for several nights I don't recommend.

There is no free parking you have to go to park across the street and paid $8 per night. They do not have room cleaning service, we were there for 4 days and we used the same towels, they did not change sheets, they did not make the beds, they did not throw the garbage from the room, they did have extra toilet paper, they did not vacuum not one single day while we were there. Breakfast ok simple. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable

The Hyatt in Bethlehem is always a solid choice for value compared to outrageously priced alternatives in the same area. Only approximately $15 with tip via a ride share service to south side for two people one way...sure beats $500+/night. Parking is convenient and you are within walking distance to downtown. Showers are nice. I like the fact that the sinks and vanity are outside of the bathroom... helps out getting ready etc. if bathroom occupied.

Great location adjacent to Bethlehem’s town square area. Clean, contemporary facility and furnishings. Very nice breakfast spread. Covered parking immediately across the street.

After a 10 hour drive to town for a family funeral, the lady at the front desk was rude & unwelcoming. Other than this, every single person we interacted with was friendly and kind!

Coffee/tea bar was great and fully stocked. Nice selection of breakfast items. Property was clean, quiet and welcoming, staff was friendly. Room was large, beds were comfortable. Definitely enough room for a family. Hotel is in walking distance to lots of great restaurants, bars, etc.

I was not recognized as a World of Hyatt member, even though I had given them my number. Wished that water would have been complimentary instead of $3.50 per bottle. Unfortunately, there are a lot of panhandlers that hang out near the hotel, so that is always a little sketch.

The location of our friends, the size of our room, the people at the desk and the housekeeping staff. The location was perfect and we were glad we could buy our Christ Kringle tickets at the desks. We enjoyed the coffee and the lobby.

All was lovely but the breakfast was poor- no fruit- green bananas- packaged egg sandwiches. After one Hyatt breakfast we went out to a restaurant for our breakfasts.

They do not offer airport transportation when we asked we were told we could leave only at 6:45a when the airline employees went in we tried to utilize airport transport from the airport to the hotel and were told the driver wasn’t going out for pick up. extremely disappointed

The size of the room and separate space for the bed and couch was great. Our stay was quiet and undisturbed by other guests. Our room came with a microwave which was a great addition. Check in and breakfast was smooth and parking across the street was convenient and easy.

The breakfast could have had more options but worked great for COVID. The sink could have been closer to the toilet or inside the bathroom.
