Room was clean and comfortable, with much-better-than-usual supplies in the bathroom, plus fridge and microwave. Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet, even though there were a large number of guests from a wedding staying there. Lobby was inviting and had lots of different places to sit, have breakfast, chat with friends, etc. Gym was open 24 hours and there was an indoor pool. When housekeeping cleaned my room, they did an excellent job.

At first, I was not given a room number in my key folder. (The desk attendant was very invested in talking with other guests while he was putting together my access to my room.) I was also not told how often the rooms were cleaned; I had to ask another attendant twice before I received an answer. I had to request twice before my room was cleaned. After I asked the question the second time more directly, I was told that the rooms were usually cleaned every 3 days unless guests request it more frequently. It seemed that perhaps the desk attendants may have been discouraged from providing that information.

The STAFF .... each & every employee take it to a new level of Hospitality.... I call it .."Family Comfort" .....& we all know family & comfort don't always go hand on hand. But here at Holiday Inn Express, I was never left feeling like a stranger. From the day staff to the graveyard shift always a smile, a real smile... Never once passed an employee without a "Hey Lisa what's up," even during a small discrepancy with a charge on my cr. Card, I was never given a run around or lame excuse to insult me, & we ALL know that almost Never happens when dealing with a huge Hotel Chain . Do you remember your memories of the Holiday Inn as a child on summer vacation with the family. Well welcome back to the future with Holiday Inn Express in Fort Washington. Near my beloved Ambler PA, a town filled with history for all ages. Thank You HIEFW, 4 the continued "Family Comfort"... It happens..... I was charged 2x's for 1 of my weeks stay. But resolved without recourse, Makes it not as bad... Oh yea "room service" would be divine...

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast had many options (including conveyer-belt pancakes, which are genius). The staff were really great - I asked for a high room away from elevator, and though they were clear that they couldn't guarantee it I was able to get it easily. They also allowed me late check out to accommodate a morning meeting. Very convenient to I276 (and I76), a SEPTA station down the block (if you need that), and near several clusters of restaurants.

There was a fan on in the bathroom that I couldn't turn off. This seems to be something about most hotels, so I wouldn't ding them for it, but if you're noise sensitive, earplugs help (as did closing the door to the bathroom). Might they consider room safes?

for me, traveling as a single female, I find it very important to have things presented so I feel safe, and the property along with my room was cleaned perfectly

The only thing that I would add, is healthier options for breakfast. I am strictly plant-based and I don’t eat a lot of sugar so for me the only option in the morning was oatmeal and a piece of fruit.

The room was huge - we didn't need all that space but I can see how someone who's staying for a few more days could feel very comfortable there. There was free coffee and tea and the included breakfast had everything we needed, including a pancake machine :) the staff was friendly and the bed was comfy - we would stay there again!

The bathroom could use an update. It was clean and spacious, just a bit faded.

Location good, staff wonderful, breakfast excellent. We were in the area to attend a wedding. Normandy Farms was a short distance from the hotel so travel was easy.

One elevator not working. As the hotel was busy, it took a while to get to the lobby or vice versa to the room. I cannot use stairs as I have trouble with my legs due to knee replacements. Next time, I'll ask for a ground floor room.

Clean room, and good breakfast. I really enjoyed the living room space where we could watch the news/movies etc while seated comfortably on a sofa or chair.

It takes a little patience to exit the parking lot. Especially to make the left turn. There’s no traffic light to help you exit the lot.

The staff were very helpful and the facilities were kept very clean. The breakfast was exceptional and it was nice that the always offered coffee, tea and fruit water in the lobby.

We were located above the laundry and it was somewhat noisy.

The complimentary breakfast buffet had good selections. I was particularly pleased with the different selection of milks as I am lactose intolerant but still like milk.

I think this is the case with most places, but the toilet paper was thin.

The Breakfast was clean and there was plenty. The room was beautiful and shockingly large. The staff was atentative and quick. I had no lines or waiting time when I arrived.

I couldn't get on the wi fi. The mattress was sagging in the middle. and the wall paper in the bathroom was bubbling up.
