Highland Inn New Cumberland

Privacy, service, and overall facility ease of access were excellent! The location was especially nice as it was situated in a quiet hill yet close enough to main roads and quick access to highways, gas stations, and other amenities. Service was readily available and room was very cozy for the value.

Because the location was so close to main roads, it can be a bit loud during later hours from passing traffic but not overwhelming. I also noticed that the towels were not changed, nor was the room cleaned during my 2 night stay. I suppose the stay may have been too short for the housekeeping schedule, but a daily cleaning/towel replacement was expected. More garbage/recycling should be available, especially since it was not changed by housekeeping. A dumpster is available a few steps outside but no recycling options. Pillows were a bit too soft, so a firm pillow option would have been nice. All minor complaints.

The rooms were very nice, clean, good amenities. Would definitely stay there again.

It seem like staff wanted me out. I had booked a room and then I booked again and I was told that I couldn't stay the next day because it was completely booked up. But when I looked on booking.com there was a room available so I just didn't push the issue. It seemed like staff didn't want me there for some reason I don't know if it's because I was getting a cheaper rate or what. I had had oral surgery and was convalescing for a couple days. But yeah the staff was very rude.

It was clean and the people was friendly , there wasn't any bugs, air conditioner worked good, if needed anything they was right on it. The wood wall was pretty. The bed was comfy. No stairs to climb. Park in front of your room.

It was dated, if looking for fancy this isn't the place for you. If your looking for cheap , clean, and friendly people this is the place. The room is perfect size for a couple. Bathroom small ,but I've been in smaller you can move around in it.Washclothes was rough, but you did get clean.

The pillows!!!!! I had stayed at a high end hotel on this trip and had to bring in my camping pillows. I was expecting to do the same but these pillows were perfect. The water pressure in the shower was also incredible.

It took me a few tries slamming the door to get it fully closed so the lock engaged.

Very wonderful staff, very quiet plenty of parking. Plenty of space in our room and easily accessible from the highway. Vending machine on site were plenty stocked, fridge in room was perfectly cold upon arrival.

Pillows were a bit flat and beds were rather springy. Not an issue with me but something the owner might wanna check into was a leaky faucet for the bathtub in the room I was in.

The Front Counter Guy Was Terrible. I asked for his Name and he Wouldn't give it to me. He also was very Rude and Disrespectful. I told I was there to check in and he gave me attitude like I wasn't supposed to be there. Then he told me he needs my credit card on file, because I might mess the room up and that's on me. Then, I gave him my card in his hand to fo whatever procedures necessary. He throws my card on the counter when he got done and I said something to him about it, and he never picked it up and handed it to me. With Covid and everything going on, we have practice better hygiene tactics. I was very upset and disappointed with his performance and Services.

Room was very very clean! Shower was awesome and super clean as well.

Staff told us to make sure we lock our door. That was worrysome. Place could use some updating but we underatand that times are tough. Also the water in the shower didn't stay hot very long but other then these issues the place definitely met our needs.

The property was convenience to me so that if I want to go somewhere,the property is at a location where there’s plenty of places to go to.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property.The property was excellent.

Clean! Gave us bottled water on arrival and upgraded us to 2 queens. Beds comfortable.

Grounds needs cleaned up, clutter everywhere. Concerned upon arrival but the room was great. Hotel is older but everything worked and it was clean so all good.
