La Quinta by Wyndham New Cumberland - Harrisburg

Madison at checkin was extremely friendly and helpful. We asked to see the room before completing our checkin, and she was eager to make sure we were satisfied. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room itself was spacious and view was over the swimming pool, which is kept warm. She made recommendations for where to eat, which turned out Great!

The bathroom was a bit small and the light switch was on the outside of the bathroom. The tub and shower were great just the space around door, tub, and commode.

The price was very great. The hotel was clean, we got plenty of towels and plenty of pillows which was nice for once. The location was awesome, we searched for local places to eat but the Boomerang restaurant shares a parking lot with the hotel so we walked right over which was nice to not have to drive anywhere. Everything in the hotel worked. Loved the free breakfast. Never stayed at a hotel that had such good breakfast items, it was more then just cold cereal, it had waffles/eggs/sausage/toast/yogurt/coffee, options for everyone.

The only thing that was unfortunate was that the pillows weren’t as firm as our pillows at home, so they hurt our necks. We loved having 5 pillows it was great to have so many but we enjoy firm pillows/beds over fluffy pillows, everything else was great.

Front desk staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Nice to have microwave and refrigerator in the room.

Staff wasn't paying close attention to breakfast area. When I entered the area at 8:30 the scrambled eggs were almost gone and the waffle maker was not heating properly. The food was acceptable, not a huge selection but okay.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The AC worked. Bed was comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave was a decent size and worked well.

There was no breakfast bar as stated. I am sure this was due to the Covid situation we have been through.They had a grab and go brown bag containing water, Twinkie or Ding Dong snack cake and granola bar. Not your normal breakfast but at least they offered something. The AC was very loud and you couldn't control the temp. When it got too cold, we turned it off. It was set for 62 degrees. (crazy) The toilet was very loud and had a very strong suction and scared the daylights out of me, but at least if flushed every time.

The room was clean and comfortable. Great shower. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, toast and Belgian waffle maker. Coffee and juice. Couldn’t ask for a better start to our day! The property was very quiet and the staff friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Was staying for the weekend at the budget inn in Carlisle (awful, do not EVER stay there) for the car show with my bf but after 1 day we needed to find a different hotel ASAP. It was a long night, I booked last minute and luckily they had a king room for our remaining 2 days. Nicest front desk workers ever. Room was really clean, the bed was SO SO comfy, and the front desk gave me an extra comforter when I asked no problem (I don’t like to share blankets lol). Shower was nice too, nothing to complain about at all

Breakfast was included but absolutely horrible. I paid 129 per night for a brown bag that included a Twinkie...a chewy granola bar...and a bottle of water. Covid restrictions are now lifted, which means people can gather. If the hotel is still practicing covid protocols why can't the hotel hand out bags of breakfast that include a muffin, small orange juice and maybe a fruit...the breakfast handed out was insulting!!! I had to go to McDonald's and get breakfast.

Very clean, professional work ethic portrayed by staff. Conveniently located. Love that it is pet friendly as we were traveling with our pups!

Housekeeping missed some trash under/around the bed and under the shelf below the sink. $20/night per dog a little pricey.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean, as it should be. Definitely worth the money. And the employees were very nice. Not that much at breakfast but not bad, your typical hotel breakfast. Overall, definitely happy and will be coming back! Worth the money!

The rooms are kinda some but very comfy and I loved the pool and gym
