So clean! Spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 5. Loved the separation of the shower and toliet with a sink in each! Fun location with outside entertainment in the square during summer weekend nights.

Having to pay for parking. $16 a day in nearby garage. Had to take an elevator from floor 4 in the garage to 2 to get to the hotel and then another elevator to get to our floor.

While the city itself is not very walkable, there are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. We had to check out early and were refunded for the days we didn't stay.

Parking costs $16 per day. Breakfast was almost the same every day.

location, safe, close restaurants, friendly staff, just would love to use the pool and hoping it reopens again as we have to travel to Pittsburgh often and we like staying here, parking garage is close and feels safe.

could use more handicap parking but it still is an awesome place, pool not open, separate bathroom shower situation not enough privacy in toilet area.

An excellent location close to the lively Bakery Square district of Pittsburgh. My wife and I find the Springfield Suites model of lodging very attractive and comfortable,

Breakfast area could be a bit crowded - although it was memorial day weekend with a lot of families staying.

Our room was very comfortable. We thought the separate water closet and bathroom were VERY convenient (why haven’t other hotels done this yet??) The available food options were what you’d expect in a hotel. Hot items were hot, cold items were cold. The hotel staff were present, friendly, and did a wonderful job of serving, cleaning, and managing breakfast with a lot of guests present.

For a hotel of that (seemingly) large size, the lobby and dining area seemed small. There weren’t many tables available when we were there (9-10am). It was also difficult to find a table that didn’t have counter or bar height seats. When I called the front desk to ask for bed linens for our trundle, someone came up to deliver them promptly. However, when I requested a second set (and apologized for not asking for two sets) the staff member was clearly annoyed and any friendly or helpful demeanor disappeared.

Nice lobby and meeting area. The retail area hotel is situated in is good. Also, can reach downtown within 20 mins via scenic drive. Breakfast was very good and area kept spotless by great crew.

Parking your vehicle is close but offsite with hourly and daily fees. Pool still out of service.

Great spot, I stay here a few times every month for work. Rooms are always clean, having a desk away from your bedroom is clutch. WIFI is fast, Breakfast is awesome for someone on the go. The Gallery next door for dinner is incredible! Panera downstairs if you want to-go fast.... LA Fitness for free (a little crowded, but its a gym, at the beginning of the year, it'll free up in April, haha) I will continue to stay here even if not for work.

Pittsburgh traffic, watch the left turns!....not the hotels fault!

Very welcoming and helpful staff. The room was spacious and, overall, very clean. The lobby area, with a full bar, was a great place to visit with family.

Every cup of decaf coffee I got included coffee grounds in my cup. The decaf dispenser was a different design from all the other dispensers.

Liked the king suite setup. Desk space was generous as was overall room size. Bathroom was I threshing, with sink and toilet in one room and shower and sink in separate room. Just different! Hotel backs up to city bus garage. Ask for room on upper level to eliminate early morning bus noise. Difficult to see from road. You have to turn into bakery square and then it is visible. Full breakfast bar was available!

I'd prefer toilet and shower in same room. Odd to have to exit to the bedroom area to get between them. Parking was in the attached city parking structure. Get the voucher from the hotel to get in and out privileges else you will be paying parking for each entrance.

The beds were super comfortable. We also like that the shower stall and toilet are in 2 separate rooms with individual sinks. The sofa and tables are West Elm and there’s a pull out bed with mattress under the sofa, which was nice. They provided us with extra sheets and blanket too.

If they had provided bottles of water, that would have been convenient.
