it was clean, comfortable, and had excellent customer service

The only criticism I have is I stayed on Saturday the 11th the room on the third floor was a lot nicer than when I came back on Wednesday the 15th and stayed two nights on the seventh floor. It just seems like that room is ready to be redone or spruced up a bit - room 726. The sink faucet kept leaking and there was a stain on one of the headboards. also, there wasn’t an extra roll of toilet paper, and I ran out of toilet paper during my stay, and had to use the tissues. I know I could have asked but usually there’s an extra roll of toilet paper so when I ran out it was my last day there, and I only had a few hours left but I think they might’ve forgot to leave an extra roll of toilet paper. That’s my only complaint.

I like that the facilities are nice and clean and the staff was very helpful and had great customer service skills. I also like the free breakfast and it was delicious.

The only issue I had is when I called the hotel for shuttle service from the airport. The lady that answered, took my information very slowly to verify my identity. She verified my name, phone number, email address. It just seemed-to take a long time and then she wasn’t even the person to get me the shuttle so that was very frustrating that she did all that and then had to transfer me anyway when, if you’re not the person I need to speak to just transfer the call, because I was irritated, I was cold. I had to verify my identity again with the front desk that I was transferred to. Other than that it was excellent customer service from then on out the shuttle driver was amazing. Facilities were amazing and the front desk was awesome.

The front desk employees are just as efficient and welcoming as the last time I stayed there four years ago. I can not say enough good things about the breakfast buffet. Carl's omelets are delicious and there are plenty of other choices. The location of the Hilton Scranton is ideal for exploring the city, shopping and dining. I'll be back!

The carpet in the rooms needs cleaning and the paper products in the bathroom need upgrading.

Breakfast was very good. Room was spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The parking garage was very inconvenient. Was not available as a direct access from hotel. Had to walk outside hotel and down a oneway street to get to garage. When we arrived the dropoff area in front of hotel was closed off for a Friday night party. Had to lug luggage from parking garage down the street to hotel.

The check in process went smoothly. The lobby was clean and inviting. We were able to unload the car undercover which was very important as it was snowing outside that evening.

The stay was overall wonderful. The only challenge for us was using the remote to access the Direct TV channels- we had trouble navigating the guide and then choosing a channel. The staff was wonderful and sent up a handyman to helps us. We were able to watch a movie given their kind support

Staff were superb and very accommodating. Hotel is right in the middle of downtown Scranton. The room was large and quiet, perfect for us and our infant child. Everything in the room was very clean and the laundry & 24 hour convenience store was super helpful! Breakfast was great too!

The rooms desperately need a refresh. Everything was clean, but there was wallpaper peeling off the walls, unexplained stains on the furniture, missing tiles in the bathroom, etc. It's time to get the decorator in.

We loved the location. It was walking distance to restaurants and bars.

The thing that bothered me was when checking in they did not provide me with stamping my parking pass and giving me our free breakfast passes. We never got to utilize one of our breakfast passes and we had to pay a day for parking. The desk did take the money off but still upset we were not informed when we arrived.

The location was outstanding. The room was clean. The pool area was clean and the bartender was very friendly, kind and attentive.

Christine Johnson at the front desk was cold, unwelcoming and does not belong at the front desk where guests are “greeted” for the first time when entering the hotel. She turned my husband and I completely off at check in.

The facilities and the restaurant were amazing. The hotel itself was very clean, but our room looked like it could have done with a little more attention. The room was very comfortable.

We found dirty clothes that belonged to someone else in the closet ; it made us think they did not pay attention to extra cleaning especially while dealing with covid still.

The price was good. The bed was comfortable need better pillows but overall great stay. Besides check out we had an okay time

Had a little problem with getting in the hot tub because their was kids jumping from pool to hot tub other than that it was an okay stay. I wish they had hot tubs in rooms. I was upset 😡 when I check out someone hit our car and the hotel really wasn't to concerned which pissed me off being that we drove from Connecticut and it happen it the parking lot that the Hilton uses for the hotel. I only wish they were a little concerned.
