Dunmore Inn

Friendly and clean and great that it had a wood floor no rugs. Comfy bed. Good heat and hot water. Fridge freezer and microwave. Would come back. No bugs. Nice owner.

No bathtub. Ridiculously late check in. This is a budget place. No frills. No closet just a bar. No hangers. But it still was $85 mid week which I think is to high for what I got. But other hotels were even more overpriced.

Very, very clean room! We were very pleased with the area and the dining establishments nearby. We were in the area for the NASCAR Pocono races and came across the Dunmore Inn. It was quiet and perfect for our stay of three nights. There was a microwave and a larger-than-normal hotel room refrigerator. The staff was pleasant and very accommodating. Our room was freshened up each day with clean towels, trash can emptied, etc. We would stay here again if we're ever back in the area.

The only recommendation I would make would be to place a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang a towel, bathrobe, etc.

It is a classic, "fifties" motel. Very clean, nice bed, nice bath. But very Spartan. Room freshly painted, nicely carpeted, but very small. We wanted only a place to sleep; it offered that and at a very affordable cost. There was an air conditioner, clock radio, TV, microwave and small fridge, and small table with two dining chairs. Mattress was very comfortable.

OK, let's start with adding night tables on each side of the bed with lamps. The only lighting was bright, undimmable, overhead can lights, operated by wall switches. (Had to find the bed in the dark!) Bathroom could have used a dimmer or "night light". Air conditioner was new but had a lot of features so could have used a printed instructions card. (Went on and off until we found it on "power saver".)

Staff were warm and welcoming. 😊😊 Good value for money. The room was modern looking with a TV, fridge and microwave.. It was very clean and comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed for our stay even though it was only for one night. We would have stayed longer at the Dunmore Inn if we hadn't had other plans on our road trip. Would definitely recommend it.. 😊😊

😊😊 There wasn't anything we didn't like although coffee/tea facilities in the room would have been nice. This was available in the main office though. It didn't spoil our stay none the less. 😊😊

This place may not look like much (both on pictures and IRL), but one thing I massively appreciated is how impeccably CLEAN it was! Maybe I just didn't expect that (judging a book by its cover), but getting into an absolutely spotless room in the late evening was quite a delight. Everything else about it is absolutely sufficient & what you'd expect. Value for money is a question of the current rate I guess.

Don't really have anything negative to say, as this place met (and exceeded) my expectations based on the listing.

Convenient, safe location with ample parking. Rooms have recently been updated and are very clean . Bath room was ample with plenty of hot water. An excellent value for the price.

A $ 50.00 CASH security deposit is required at check in. Upon check out deposit was promptly returned. If this is their policy I feel that it should be made quite obvious in any and all web sites it is listed on. I was caught unaware and just happened to have cash and a card.

We travel a lot and our budget is limited and unfortunately we have come to expect not so great accommodations for our price range. This hotel went far beyond our expectations. The rooms are beautiful, new furnishings, flooring, tile in the bath, really comfortable bed, new curtains and wall hangings, new paint job, Plus there was a small table for work or eating, the appliances seem new and the room was very clean. It is an older motel so the rooms are smaller than newer motels, but I would take this place hands down before any of the other budget motels chains.

The only thing I would change about this place to make it ideal would be to offer a breakfast option. But there is a McDonald's very close by, so it wasn't a problem.

Clean, comfortable room at a very reasonable price. Loved the hard floors with no carpet. Simple furnishings. The table provided a nice area for us to eat a simple meal. Property location felt safe. We left a bicycle on outside of vehicle and did not worry whether it would still be there in the morning. Staff person (owner?) who checked us in was very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Shower a tad small.

This Inn is wonderful! This was our second stay, and we were so glad we went back. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding. Having a tv, fridge, and microwave more than met our needs. The shower water was hot and the pressure was excellent. The king room was perfect for the two of us. Since our first visit, we have been telling all our friends to be sure and stay at the Dunmore Inn.

There was absolutely NOTHING not to like. The management offers its customers a stay that is worth every dollar they are charged. It was a pleasure to pay such a modest price for such a magnificent investment. Well done, Dunmore Inn.🥳

We had car trouble on our way to the hotel and this delayed our arrival, so we were not able to arrive by the 11:30 pm registration end period. We called and the staff agreed to wait for our arrival 30 of 45 minutes later. This was so generous and gracious of her because we knew it meant she had to stay up late and yet we also knew we would not be able to find anywhere else to stay at that hour. Thank you SO much to the hotel staff.

We could not get the television to work.
