Breakfast was wonderful each day. Lobby sitting area was well appointed and comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Front desk staff were mostly helpful and friendly. Parking was abundant and the location was a great jumping off point for all the sights we wanted to see.

Initially, my reservation was incorrect (1 night instead of the 3 I originally booked). At check-in the Front Desk Agent said he was unable to assist me, however, the next morning the Agent was able to fix the booking and my stay was fine after that. The manager's reception "snacks" were basically chips & salsa and some crudite - seemed a little chintzy to me.

The facilities were super clean, the breakfast was amazing, the staff were always cleaning the entirety of our visit. The room was super comfortable and the shower worked wonderfully. Super nice hotel!

Paying for parking seemed a little excessive, but maybe there are underlying reasons for that. I got a good deal on the hotel and it was well worth paying for parking.

The location was very accessible to everything we needed..When we didn't feel like driving, Deon, the transportation driver took us to dinner. The Happy Hour was right on time with light snacks but I had juice and fellowship.. Tabitha was very professional and patient..She worked hard to accommodate the customers with a smile..She also extended her hours. Ms Judith, supervisor of hospitality took the time to speak to us and help with any needs.

I didn't like when the elevators were down but it was just a short time

The breakfast and happy hour were above expectations. I will absolutely book with Embassy suites in any states traveling to moving forward

Housekeeping; however, it is understandable due to the lack of people willing to work

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot and tasty. They made special effect to assist me when I left my purse there. We were headed out on a cruise and I left all of my money plus my id at the hotel. Not being from SC I didn't even know how to get back to the hotel. But the driver met us and returned my items. I was over the moon with joy. Thanks a lot Deon you made the trip possible. Next time I will take pictures.

The weather was nasty but the hotel and staff was wonderful. I will be back in Jan 2024

The main reason I booked here was for my Granddaughters last day before school started. The only thing she asked for was a pool...guess what!!? The pool was closed down for remodeling and I was not told this beforehand and it was not on the website. We had to walk a mile to use their "sister pool" that was tiny and hard to find. The staff was not at all helpful. I have a service dog (with papers) and they charged me an extra $75!!

The breakfast was great and there was a lot of variety. The room was clean and spacious.

The front desk supervisor wasn’t very friendly and didn’t want to check me in even though I made the reservation through booking.com. After showing her my receipt from booking.com and insisting it wasn’t my fault we weren’t in the system, she allowed me to check in. We saw her after that when we bought items from the hotel’s kiosk and she still didn’t have a friendly face. I think front desk staff should be more friendly and welcoming. Also, the water in the pool was FREEZING. The kids couldn’t enjoy it at all, they spent a few minutes in the hot tub and that was it. For what I have read, people have been complaining about the water in the pool for a while now, so I recommend the hotel give immediate attention to this issue.

room comfort (very comfortable bed, TV and absolutely no noise)

While the incidence of Covid 19 is decreasing, the pandemic remains a sickening and deadly force in society. The hotel's restaurant breakfast policy of allowing hotel guest s to REACH over the chef's food counter (where the food items are located) and serve themselves sausage and bacon is not conducive to minimizing the likelihood of any and or all the food items even being unintentionally contaminated. To address this I am suggesting you place a 2 foot high protective shield between the food and the guest and either A) make it the chef's responsibility to serve the sausage and bacon to the guest or B) move the sausage and bacon to the buffet area whereby guest may serve themselves.

Honestly, couldn't ask for a better location to see a show at the North Chars Coliseum. A less than 5 minute walk through the parking lot basically. Room was a good size and price really was pretty good for Charleston. Really loved the complimentary drinks in the early evening too, a very nice touch.

Not much to complain about. I kind of think if you are paying for a room, parking should be included, but I guess 10 bucks for the night isn't that bad, but do be aware of it if you'll have a vehicle. Maybe the sofas in the room could use a bit of an update but hey a suite in Charleston for this price was fine.

Great selection for breakfast and it was delicious, the room did not have a good smell and we had to go out and get air freshener to stay in there. Beds were very comfortable for everyone.

Did not like the smell in the room and would have liked for it to have been cleaned and fresh linen placed on the beds with our trash taken out, because we stayed 3 days and 2 nights.
