Comfort Inn & Suites Ft.Jackson Maingate

Exceptional staff; very clean. First room smelled like perfume and they immediately moved us. Evidence of wear, but they're remodeling. Next door is AMAZING little Greek restaurant, great food reasonably priced- eat in or drive through. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles and usual cold choices.

Somewhat sketchy location; right outside the door was park benches with smokers. Parking limited so have to go through that door. First floor felt nervous about trying to get privacy from window curtains. But room was very quiet, no noise from inside or outside.

The staff who checked me in was super friendly and attentive. She answered all my questions and made me feel safe at the hotel. The breakfast bar was fabulous and had some items to grab and go or you could make yourself some waffles, toast, bagels… I would recommend to a friend and stay again.

I did not like the cleaning people this morning asking if I was out of my room or not. It was before 9:30am as breakfast was still open. The guy at the desk this morning getting the receipt I asked for he just said sure and it took about 3 minutes to print and stood there in silence.

The room was nice and clean..The bed was super comfy and all the staff was nice and friendly. The location was great, alot of restaurants to choose from, near by Walmart and many other stores.

The grab and go breakfast was a disappointment. NO juice, and not much of a selection. The indoor pool was closed due to covid which was not mentioned on the booking site, and my kids was really excited about that, mainly why I choose this hotel but the matter at hand was understandable. Also it was limited parking, only one way in and out even if you had to park in the back of the hotel, you still had to walk around to the front..At that time it was cold and raining.

Property is always clean.

I prefer being able to park in the back parking lot of Shoney’s restaurant, rather than the back side of the hotel where I’d have to walk around to the front, without the fear of my car being towed. Safety is a priority for me since I’ve seen homeless people and drug addicts walking in the dimly lit parking lot behind the hotel

Friendly staff... breakfast served. Only downside was the meat wasn't cooked thoroughly

Flooded room... but once we alerted staff they moved us to another room. The air-conditioning line busted but overall the room was ok. The lighting was out on 1 side but it was still good

Breakfast was great!! . Bed was very comfortable! Very affordable hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to hotel and restaurants . Minimal noise level. Clean rooms, hallways, and dining area.

Phone in room 225 was dead. Pool was closed for renovation.

The room was spacious & comfortable. Staff was friendly & helpful. The location was convenient. There were a few fast food restaurants within walking distance. Overall great hotel

I wish there would have been a snack vending machine.

It was close to the highway. It had a great breakfast which was constantly tended to. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Staff was nice and friendly.

The carpets looked dirty in the rooms. I prefer the bathroom sink to be outside the bathroom so one other person could get ready at the same time.

The staff was really nice. Great customer service.

I was place in one room that was humid. I told the front desk and they offered another room and it was more comfortable. the tv in the second room didn’t work but at least it wasn’t humid.

We weren't real sure what to expect with this whole "covid" thing happening, but we had made plans to take our girls (now in college) back to Riverbanks Zoo for the Lights Before Christmas as we had when they were in preschool and then again in elementary school. We don't know if the pool was open, because we had no use for it this particular trip. Many hotels are listed as having a complimentary breakfast, but when you get there, due to "covid", they have no breakfast; this is not updated on all the websites. However, this hotel--even with "covid" going on and most hotels nixing the breakfast--this hotel saw to it their guests would still be greeted in the morning with a grab-and-go breakfast: muffins, apple, granola bar neatly packed in little bags (and greatly appreciated!). When we arrived, the gal at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. She told me exactly where to find my room, and told us where the vending and ice machines were. She answered my questions without my having to even ask them. The room was fresh and clean, and I never think much of it, but the pictures on the wall in our particular room were really beautiful--sort of wishing the photographer's name would have been displayed. :-) Location of this hotel seemed to be pretty good. We were about a 15-minute drive from the zoo, but that was due to pretty heavy traffic that evening...and rain.

When pulling into the parking lot, the hotel itself seemed to appear to need a good power-washing, but that happens anywhere. :-) I cannot think of anything else negative. Overall, it's a nice-looking hotel, warm and friendly staff. Couldn't have asked for anything more.
