I had no idea that this was a brand new hotel. Our stay was very nice we really enjoyed the breakfast bar.

The owners are very pleasant and helpful. Questions and requests were handled quickly and effectively. The premises were immaculate and new. This location had only been open for a couple of months when we stayed there, but if it stayed the same, I would definitely stay there again and again. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was slightly varied on different days, but it was hot and there were many choices to pick from: waffles, eggs, french toast, sausage, and bacon There were different breads, muffins, Danish, and cereal. There was yogurt, juices, coffee, and more. I give it a 5-star rating.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like. It was truly one of the best experiences and places we ever stayed in.

Totally updated/modern. After 12 hours on the road, very nice to be greeted at the front desk by staff who were very accommodating. We travel with a dog ($25. Pet fee) & they were able to fulfil our request of ground floor near exit. Fully stocked snack & cold drink room. Breakfast (incl in room rate) was exceptional. Large variety of fresh food & very clean. There is also a safe area to walk our pet. We use LaQuinta Suites on all our travels. Highly recommend this location especially for a one night. Close to Interstate but never heard noise.

I liked the open lobby for breakfast. It made the load into my car, breakfast and check out convenient. We loved and admired the beautiful mosaic mural of downtown Columbia featuring the capitol building. It was truly a work of art and something akin to art in an Italian cathedral. Mosaic art always captivates us and to see it here in a hotel was a stunning surprise. Nice touch La Quinta. BEDS were beyond comfortable, clean soft linens and comfy mattress.

Coffee set up in the room was blah, also we did not know there was free coffee machine in the lobby area.

New colorful modern...great staff ..very comfortable...I hesitate to go overboard with my ratings because I don't want the price to go up!

Loud doors slamming especially the exit doors...I'm guilty myself of letting the door slam....they should put a sign there to ask that we carefully let the door close especially during quiet hours...there was some hair left hanging on the shower wall and on a place on the counter..not a big deal really...it was president weekend and very busy...not in any way a game changer ..

The best part for me was the cleanliness and the fact that the TV was mounted higher so you could see it laying in bed. The first place I've ever been that I didn't have to set up to see the TV.

The breakfast left me disappointed. Selection was great but the sausage gravy was still cool, the hash brown potatoes were hard .

The property was very well maintained and in a very good area, right off the interstate. The lobby and breakfast areas were kept very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Being this location is right off the interstate and also near a train track, the sounds from both were the main dislike. Also, it was slightly difficult to get to and, if you’re not from the area, might pose a slight challenge.

Front desk has a great castomer service. They went above and beyond to make their customers happy with their stay.

Restroom had a certain unpleasant smell from the drainage. I wish they had more options for people with dietary restrictions as myself.

I was a little scared to book in Columbia cause all they hotels have bad reviews, but this one set the bar high. The facility was nice and clean, and the check was so smooth and quick. The rooms are up to date. One thing I love was they use dove products in the rooms, not that cheap soap. Will stay again and recommend this location to anyone.

The entire hotel was immaculate. The room was probably the cleanest hotel room I’ve stayed in, in a very long time. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was good! My family and I felt safe and comfortable the entire stay.

I wish they didn’t charge a $100 deposit. No issues or complaints otherwise. Fantastic hotel.
