Comfort Suites Myrtle Beach Central

One of the nicest hotels and rooms in general that I have visited. I travel for business often. Cold A/C at check-in. The exhaust fan in BR works, with no high humidity in the room.

Woke up the following morning with red whelps over my upper body. Later making the bed, there were fleas in the bed. I had flea bites. I requested another room which was granted. Booked the room for 2 nights with Booking.com which I have used for several years. My room was invoiced $15 more than quoted on the booking.com reservation. The hotel indicates it is a "reservation fee". The Booking.com reservation slip indicates no property fees apply to the stay. I reached out to the hotel and Booking.com prior to writing this review to no avail. BTW: I reasonably should have requested a refund of the first night for the flea bite suffering, but didn't. I will not stay at any Comfort Inn hotels again anywhere in the future. I am ceasing to use Booking.com for my future reservations.

The air conditioner worked very well. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was very spacious. The property contained an iron, ironing board, microwave, coffee maker in the room, and a refrigerator.

I didn’t like having to go downstairs daily to get clean towels. The towels were not ready when I went down to get them. Some of the towels that were clean still looked dirty. The shower head wasn’t clean; thank goodness I brought my own cleaning supplies. The room could have been dusted more thoroughly. There was dust by the headboard and the room had a mildew or mold smell. Most of the stay I had the do not disturb sign on the door; however I decide to get my room cleaned. The housekeeper skipped over my room. Maybe there is a housekeeping policy that I didn’t know about. The bed was uncomfortable and sounded as if the springs were about to pop out each time I moved about in the bed.

The property was very clean the staff was very nice it’s on the desk. The room was also very clean and very comfortable. There is a variety of options for breakfast and I am extremely glad that breakfast was included. I would definitely stay again.

Everything seemed OK the only problem we really hung on the room we originally booked was not available upon arrival. We had booked for a king room but the only room available were 2 queen beds

very clean. every time I was in the hall I saw housekeeping lol literally all daybut staff was very nice. went to the small store there and was told I could have my item for free.. small pool and dated pool furniture but pool was clean and nice temperature.

. 6/7 minute drive to boardwalk. which is why it isn’t a 10. breakfast was lack luster. fresh eggs , waffles, and sausage but kids didn’t like it. I enjoyed the bagels

The breakfast was your average hotel continental breakfast. They had a waffle make but seemed to always be out of the original batter so we had no choice but to get banana nut batter. It wasn't amazing but I'm thankful it was included :)

Everything was pretty good. (Oh except they don't have a gym)

The lobby receptionist went beyond her duties and looked in on me when I was having a amnesia attack letting my wife know that I was in my room and giving me a Gatorade and water due to dehydration. She deserves a raise polite had symphony for me. They way humans should treat others. ♥️

Everything was great. Ok course prices could be lower but over all would definitely stay here again

The lobby area was clean and comfortable.

The only thing I didn't like was when we got back to the room. The housekeeper cleaned the room but forgot to clean the jacuzzi tub. We couldn't get back in it, but that wasn't a big deal to call to the front desk to make a fuss about.

Breakfast was ok other than the powerdered eggs. Oatmeal could have been offered

We woke up to alot of noise in the lobby area. Someone was listening to recorded messages out loud on their speaker phone. It was loud and very annoying especially early in the morning. Everything could be heard in our room on the first floor room 115.

I did not like that the ladies that clean the rooms come in the rooms to clean it when you leave the room. I rather they come and clean it when you are in the room.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and a nice size. The location worked very well for us, was right in the middle of all our planned activities.

The breakfast was not as good as we hoped and we noticed the bathroom door was damaged/scratched and needs to be replaced.
