Staybridge Suites Myrtle Beach-Fantasy Harbour, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast exceeded our expectations. It hit the spot and helped us to start our day off energized. Great variety too! The room was great for what we needed, was really surprised, it seemed for once the photos accurately matched our accommodations. We've stayed in many placed at Myrtle Beach and some we will never return to. Staybridge, we will absolutely return to. The best part, however, was the extremely friendly staff. They made our trip that much more memorable. Larry checked us in and was so welcoming. Later that night, my kids went down to the lobby to purchase snacks and they said Larry was so nice and seems to really enjoy his job. This makes a difference. I also talked to a different guy and another lady from the staff, and though I do not remember their names, they were fantastic too. We will definitely return!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

More COVID safeguards

The hotel staff was very friendly. Check-in and check-out was the fastest that I have ever experienced in my travels. The room was clean and exceeded our expectations in size. The bath towels were a little rough but they were clean which is most important. Although it was bike week, We were in town for a wedding, and expected it to be busy and possibly louder than normal. To our surprise the hotel was very quiet during our 2 day stay.

The only negative was breakfast on Saturday. The eggs and grits both were very salty. The couple sitting next to us said they experienced the same with their meal. We ended up throwing away our plates and getting breakfast outside the hotel.

I wish you were closer to ocean front!

Your commodes are too low to the floor. My wife had to use the bathroom in the lobby because the one in the room was too low to the floor. I had to help her get up off the commode the whole week. I asked for a handicap room but there was none available.

The facility is nice and quiet. It has a fitness center, a laundry room, and good variety breakfast. The front office staffs are friendly, welcoming, and attentive to customers need. It is very family friendly.

I think that they could provide better juices or be more attentive to the juice machine. Sometimes the juices just tasted water down and lacking that nice taste.

The layout of the suite was excellent and very quiet. All the staff that I interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. The young lady that checked me in was one of the nicest people I have ever had checking me in at properties.

It is sort of out of the way of activities, things to do. However, I did need a quiet place to go, and this was great for that reason.

Okay so this hotel was literally hundreds of dollars cheaper than other hotels that were oceanfront. I was a little skeptical, but man let me tell y’all, lol. The hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel itself is clean and updated. The inclusive breakfast was good as well. They had quite the variety of different foods to try. There’s a lot of places that you can go outside of the hotel to just relax; the courtyard, basketball court, pool, and they also have designated smoking areas. The rooms look good! They were clean, although the only thing I didn’t like was that the cabinets smelled as if they haven’t been wiped out, but that’s irrelevant if you don’t plan on using anything in the cabinet. The room itself looks like a mini apartment. Everything’s beautiful and updated! Backsplash, stainless steel, dark wood trimming, like it’s very pretty. The location is AMAZING. We’re only 10 minutes or so from the beach, and there’s food places, the mall, the outlets, and more all within a couple of minutes from the hotel! The hotel is nice and quiet, clean, the staff is nice, food is good, location is great. This was definitely worth the money. Have a great stay guys!

The smell of the cabinets

having a 2 bedroom suite, breakfast was very good, pool and pool area was great

except for front desk staff not very friendly, felt like we were inconveniencing them to ask for something. sofa bed had stains and not in very good shape

Great pool! We were surprised by the full-size basketball court right next to the pool and made use of it. Amazing! Breakfast was great, just like the room which also had a full kitchen. In total, great value for money.

Again, like in most hotels sustainability is not taken care of. With every breakfast your create a huge pile of waste. And no one seems to care.

The hotel was clean and a great location. 10 min from the beach. The staff were absolutely amazing. Free breakfast and every morning, including eggs, breakfast meat, grits, oatmeal, toast, bagels. And much more. If I can I will always look at for stay bridge wherever I go.

Location is excellent. Breakfast is good. Staff is good.

The furniture in the eating area is very stained, should be replaced. It takes away from the breakfast, social, and sitting area.
