We LOVED the view from our "partial view" room. We had 3 views of ocean from our room. The kids could have lived in the swimming pools. There were no vacancies when we stayed a few of our days and there was enough space that you still were piled up with people.

I DID NOT like the indoor pool. It stunk! Also the "amenity" prices were absolutely ridiculous. 2 regular size "frozen" mixed drinks were (kid you not) $38 before tip. Breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids $70 before tip.

Cleanliness. Lots of activities on site. Friendly staff. Ease of check-in and check-out.

One parking spot for 7 guests is insufficient, especially with seniors. Literal 20 minute wait for elevator morning of checkout. On site breakfast dining too expensive. Did not learn about beach access for beach wagon until morning of checkout. We were carrying wagon down the steps to beach.

I enjoyed the view of the ocean, the location was perfect! The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and efficient. The room was pleasantly quiet when trying to sleep and the security measures in the hotel are wonderful. The staff are friendly and accommodating, there is a Starbucks located in the lobby, a bowling alley with an arcade that serves ice cream as well as burgers, fries etc, a lounge, a restaurant, a fitness room, and a shop located inside the hotel. There is a lazy river outside as well as an outdoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi, there is an indoor pool as well as an indoor jacuzzi. The hotel itself is right along the boulevard strip so there are plenty of activities around such as an amusement/ water park, Ripley's Believe It or not, putt putt, a ferris wheel, as well as many shops and restaurants. This is a great location for a family or couple.

It is an older hotel, but the room and the grounds were well taken care of for a “family resort.” Enjoyed the pool deck, pools and lazy river, and hot tubs. Thankful that an oceanfront lifeguard stand was directly in front of the hotel. The room doors are outside, but not in the typical motel way; you access them from inside the resort and you do need a room key to choose floors in the elevator and open stairwell doors. I did see a security guard walking the property, too.

Unfortunately, the ocean view rooms overlook the Blu Atlantic motel which features a disgusting, unused kids pool. Clearly, Coral Reef is not at fault, but I’d splurge for the oceanfront room next time just to avoid this eyesore. Used the 50% off bowling coupon (from the welcome package); notices that the lanes were warped, after we started playing, but it was something to do and it didn’t break the bank. You will want/need to drive to restaurants. Lots of good options all within 10 minutes away.

We enjoyed the bowling alley as well as Kevin the bartender. Both nights there was good music and despite the long lines, the waitresses at both the indoor restaurant and the outside bar worked fast to serve us. We definitely will be booking again. It’s a great place for family and has enough amenities on site you really don’t have to leave the hotel.

The elevators were very slow and stopped at every floor. I ate some nachos from the bowling alley that made me very sick. The stay was still excellent none the less.

The location is one of the best parts of this property. it os directly on the beach so it is convenient to go back up to your room when you need. The room was awesome too. We had a lot of space for just the two of us and the balcony was so relaxing. The breakfast place in the resort was delicious as well.

I wish this resort had a dinner restaurant, something a little nicer to sit down at. We struggled finding good food in Myrtle Beach.

The convenience of the location. The roominess of the room.

The room could have been a little cleaner. The bedding was nasty. This wasn't a huge deal breaker because we travel with our own bedding- sheets, comforters, pillowcase covers, pillowcases, and towels. The room also had a musty odor but by the time I finished cleaning and spraying down everything with Lysol it wasn't noticeable.

The breakfast was delicious and our server was kind and all a round wonderful. I do not like the 20% automatic tipping as the 2 gentleman at the bowling alley/food area were not exactly wonderful, but they tried their best. They were young and I think maybe overwhelmed with their duties of running 3 areas between the two of them on a Friday night. We waited 45 minutes for hotdogs and drinks🤷 our room and view were amazing.

See above. We were given coupons for bowling and then told we needed paperwork to use the coupon which was not told to us when given the coupon. 50 for my family to bowl was pricey.. Especially when it costs 58.00 for a couple hotdogs and chicken sandwich with sodas. We could've went out to dinner and had a real meal for a similar price. We waited 45 minutes for the hotdogs and soda as the boys had to go get buns and we're busy stacking the cooler full of beer in between... They were extremely pleasant going men however. And apologetic for the wait. They surely didn't need a twelve dollar tip for coming a few hot dogs and filling our cups

Very friendly staff and a lot of pools and jacuzzis.

It is an older place and wasn't 100% clean. We did find a waffle behind the couch. And we did hear another vacationer complain about bed bugs at the front desk but we never seen any and never got any bites.
