The location was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds was very comfortable.

I didn't like being next to the pool. I didn't like the noise with everyone slamming the gate going in and out of the pool and the children screaming.. The dog in the room next to us keep barking and howling

A very honest option. You cant expect luxury as it is a 1 star motel, but I was surprised by the cleaness and proximity to the beach. Its really just a few steps away. I was having second thoughts after I booked, considering what I heard about some parts of Myrtle Beach but I was positively impressed by the place. The other people who were there were mostly families and very friendly. Easy to park and to check in and out.

The sound isolation in the room is not good. It didn't feel very private, but I understand that I might be asking too much, considering it was one of the cheapest places around.

Dog friendly. Parking by my room. Great value.

The rooms were VERY clean. The pool was nice and clean as well. Very convenient beach access from the hotel as well. All staff were very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. Very pet friendly hotel, convenient pet area behind the hotel.

The only complaint we had, we called when we were about an hour away to inquire about a potential early check in at 12 instead of 2pm. Originally we were told it shouldn’t be an issue, once we arrived we were told it would be an additional hour (1pm), we were not able to get our keys until almost 2:15.

This place is dated, but VERY clean! 37 rooms and the owner makes sure to keep up with everyone of them! The owner made sure to ask multiple times if we needed anything, how our stay was going, if there was anything he could do… this makes my 6th stay here & I never have a complaint.. My kids love the pool, we all felt right at home! :) They got a new grill, we was the first to use it & it was amazing!

My room was a little warm… I think the air may be going out in our room. We wasn’t miserable, it just wasn’t as cool as I’d like it to be. Still happy tho!

We appreciated the kindness of staff in the office. They were very friendly and helpful with questions we had about the area.

I liked its character being one of the few vintage, mid-century, roadside style, 2-story, block BEACHFRONT motels left in Myrtle Beach, and given it’s summer, was the best deal on the Grand Strand for booking last minute. Convenient parking, pool, and beach access are top features.

Units soundproofing was disappointing. You could hear guests in rooms next to you, and you’d have to really watch your volume at night.

Honestly, knowing this was a motel I approached the property with average expectations, but I was quickly changed gears when I entered the room. Yes, checking in to the property was personable and convenient, but (again) I have to give major props to room 213! Second floor at the back-right! Once you open the door you are immediately entranced by the grandeur of the ocean front view, as if the Atlantic was your living room! I am a neat freak, so trust me when I say the room itself was extremely clean. I already told a friend about this property and I know where I'll be booking my reservation the next time I am in Myrtle Beach!

There was nothing to not like. I swear!

Super friendly staff. Nice accomodations with cute pool. Nice ocean view and easy walk to the beach. Great location. It's quiter on the south end of the beach and if you like the mom & pop feel, this is the place! Also pet friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately the wifi was slow and the ice machine was broken BUT the nice size refrigerator held a bag of ice so that took care of the that.
