Very close to interstate and many dining options. It was clean and breakfast was good.

First time we have ever stayed at Tru. The receptionist explained to us when we arrived that Tru was designed for the younger crowd and it TRUly is. Too stripped down in the niceties of other motels I have stayed in which makes the room much smaller. My husband kept bumping the bed frame edges each time he moved around the room. Overpriced for the accommodations.

I stay with TRU coming through Florida to Virginia.(Orangeburg) a couple were in front of me checking in, and evidently their reservation had been canceled and they wanted a king size bed. when making my own reservation, I requested a king room. the gentleman was so nasty, cussing and being incredibly rude. he said the didn’t want queen beds and would go somewhere else. I offered them my room, he snatched it up and my stay in the Queen room was so comfortable and I slept so well.. love the hotel!! And the TV welcomes me☕️💗

I’ve been on several long road trips since last fall, staying in 40-50 different rooms and this has been the cleanest and most comfortable room I’ve had throughout! Seems like none of the hotel rooms are really clean anymore so it was a nice change to say the least. Employees were all very friendly as well.

Breakfast was only so-so which surprised me when everything else was so good. But I much rather have a clean room than good breakfast! haha

This is our favorite stop on our way to Florida. We start here EVERY TIME. I love the look and feel of this more modern hotel. It is always so clean and inviting. The staff are ALWAYS super nice and accommodating - EVERYONE. EVERYTIME! They also offer the BEST breakfast of any hotel we've ever stayed in.

There is literally nothing not to like about this hotel.

First off, réception check in was 10/10. The 2 ladies that served us were super fun, knowledgeable and professional. It was a breath of fresh air finding a property that understands the neaning of "clean". The decor is fresh. Lighting is bright and cheerful and yes, it is clean.

A bit more expensive than what we have been paying on our road trip but...

Location, breakfast, cleanliness were excellent.

I could have rated this hotel higher but, music from lobby muzak could be heard in our room (second floor). I called front desk at 1:45 AM and asked that something be done. I was told that it would be taken care of, however, after sometime it became clear that the volume MAY have been reduced rather than turned off. Why the muzak needs to play all night is beyond my understanding. I may be a light sleeper, but people need a quiet environment for sleeping. Put the muzak on a timer. What was amazing, a sign/card in our room said to observe quiet between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM out of respect for others. I'm a Hilton Honors member and I've always found the properties to meet or exceed my expectations.

Loved the layout! The shower was excellent, and loved the touch of having the shampoo, conditioner and body soap in squeezable containers in the shower. The whole vibe of the place was cool!

Although I had no problem working the TV from my phone, I would have liked a remote control in the room.

Front desk agents Noah and Day were exceptional! Day was able to make a difference in my stay, see below. Kudos to that wonderful young lady!!!!!

The incidental fee at check-in should be in the correspondence from booking. I accidently forgot my credit card and the hotel does not accept cash. Noah, who has only been on the job two weeks, called the manager to make an exception, their answer was to cancel the reservation at 10:45 p.m. 😟 . When Day arrived for her shift, she was able to find the credit card in their system and apply it to my account. GREAT job Day!

close to interstate - modern rooms ( loved the flooring - spotlessly clean - so much nicer than carpet) great shower and bathroom lots of towels, etc. nice beds

would have preferred a proper bar/ lounge instead of takeout options

Location was perfect for us. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and quiet. Bed slept well. The breakfast was excellent. Also nice to be able to get coffee at any time.

Room was a bit small for the price.
