Comfort Inn & Suites Santee

The employees are very friendly. The beds are very comfortable and the room was spacious. They provide a nice breakfast in the morning and nice seating area in the lobby.

The hotel was under construction/ remodeling which we did not know when booking our room. I'm pretty sure the owners of this particular location would not be happy with the sloppy remodeling in the bathroom specifically. Whoever did it really didn't care about getting paint on a new vanity or on the floor and on the mirrors It was a very sloppy job. Although the bathroom was large you had to go into a door which would shut behind you instead of staying open if you wanted it to be open. Additionally the toilet sounds like the toilet on a airplane, you can hear it through the walls when flushed. You can hear the fan through the walls and the water pressure is really low in the sink and in the shower.

Breakfast was terrible but the location is awesome

The breakfast was NOT good at all!!! The server customer service skills was terrible. It was as if she had an attitude. The grits was lumpy. The eggs was in cubes. I informed her that the cranberry juice was out. She actually suck to the tooth. I watch another young man come to her and asked a question. She was very rude to him. Other than that everybody else was awesome but if I was ever to stay there again, and if I know if she’s working, I will not have breakfast.

The room was very clean, and apparently it had been recently remodeled so it was really nice. I booked the queen suite, it was such a spacious room and the beds were so comfortable. My only issue was the price, compared to a few other places the price was really high but I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area. The breakfast was great I also really enjoyed it.

The cost of the room.

The Comfort Inn at Santee is in a great location, right off of 95. The staff was so friendly, the rooms were very big and tidy and the bed were comfy. The place was quiet and the breakfast was nice too. It’s not the most modern place, but the location was perfect, plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a super quick drive and a great little store close by for a lot of what you could need. I would certainly stay here with my family again.

It was a little dated

Excellent. Loved getting a newspaper!! I booked my room as we were traveling. I assumed I was on Choice Hotelswebsite as I wanted to use points for our our stay. I found out from the pleasant clerk when we arrived that I had NOT BEEN on your website. It would be appreciated if this could be avoided for other unsuspecting travelers! We have been members fo 15 years but I am looking at other options since Choice quality seems to be very poor at some of our recent stays(not this one).

We have stayed at your hotel many times. The first time was just by chance, by our need to stop. Since then we have stayed many time due to your associate LaShawn, who returned some belongings to us after we left them behind. She went above and beyond to help us and we return specifically to see her and enjoy her professional hospitality at the front desk. A true invaluable team member.

We have been consistently pleased with our stay, the accommodations and the value. There are now more and more options for hotels in the area, but we return happily and leave satisfied each stay.

Location is great. Staff is very friendly. The served hot breakfast was handled well for safety. It's our go-to hotel on our trip back from up north. Bathroom has enough counter space (not everywhere does), and an exhaust fan.

Tub and bathroom floor are slippery. There were some fairly ugly stains on the carpet in our room, which looked like some mystery substance that maybe can't be cleaned (?). Everything else was great!

nicely updated rooms. comfy beds. pool. Free hot breakfast! friendly staff. location is great for overnight travel stop.

I’m not gonna lie, there were little things that needed attention but on the large scale they didn’t interfere with our comfort.

Convenient location off I 95 smooth check in and out clean room. Great restaurant down the street Clarks.

Had to turn the heater off because of the noise. No food on premises breakfast was not great. The price was too high for what was offered. I would stay somewhere else.

Breakfast was great ! Food plentiful , delicious and lots of good choices ! Room offered lots of amenities-well taken care of. Plenty of excellent restaurants in the area which the receptionist recommended. Short but pleasant stay !
