Hampton Inn at Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort

The breakfast was excellent. The sweet lady who took care of the breakfast room was outstanding!! She deserves a raise. She is an asset to your company!

I reserved our room at a certain price and have confirmation. However, when I arrived I was billed a higher price. I told the front desk and they said it was due to incidentals that we might occur. Well, we had NO incidentals and price is still on the bill. Why would you charge for incidentals when we didn’t have any??? If we did have incidentals then you could charge for them at that time. You had our credit card number!!! Frustrating!

Overall was very satisfied with my stay here. Would stay here again. Kristine was very nice & accommodating - letting me check in a little early and giving me a room on the top floor. Great view from my window - saw deer roaming the hills quite a bit. Just beautiful. Also, you’re basically walking distance from everything you’d want to checkout in Deadwood. Great location! Only a couple minute walk to the main section of historic Main St. Parking was great, too! They give you a FREE pass to park in a lot right across from the hotel. Does fill up, though. So may want to get there before evening/night to ensure you find a place to park.

Could have been a bit cleaner. It wasn’t dirty by any means, but there were a few random hairs in the bed & shower. Not bad, though.

The location is on Main street and there is parking across the street. It looked pretty full when we got there but we managed to snag a spot. Breakfast was great. Protein options and the usual waffles, fruit, and cereal were available. The beds were comfortable and the room was large. For being a part of a casino, it was very quiet.

I don't know if it was just our room but the shower had very little water pressure. I didn't even try to shampoo my hair because I knew I'd never get it rinsed out.

From the minute we walked in the door & were greater by Morgan, our experience was amazing. She was so polite & helpful. Our room was fabulous, looking out to deer eating along the hill, the bathroom was gorgeous with a huge glass shower, and the beds were so comfy. The breakfast was delicious with SO many options to choose from.

Nothing, but there was no bathtub (at least in our toom) & some families may want that.

I'm coming back! The room was inexpensive, and the booking was easy. Just needed to put a credit card on file for incidentals. When I booked the hotel, I idn't know there are restaurants, coffee shops, and a full casino attached to the hotel! It was a short walk to the rest of Deadwood. The room was clean and comfortable. The hot continental breakfast was delicious. Staff were very kind. In fact I got a text from the manager asking how my room was shortly after check-in,, and could text back and forth! Will definitely be staying here more and more.

Small issues I lost a lot of money at the casino haha. The TV in the room had very few channels. The lights weren't on the wall, you have to turn them on in between the beds. I tried signing up for the casino's club membership on my phone, but it kept kicking me out before I could complete the registration so I was not able to use it while gaming.

The breakfasts were very good. Location in town was good. Room was very clean. Hotel personnel were very polite

There isn't alot of parking - a small lot across the street from the hotel and it was usually pretty full but we were always able to find a spot. The tv remote is very out dated - no guide button. No brochures in the room telling you what stations were on which channels. The hotel personnel offered and did print out a sheet that listed which stations were on which channels.

The front desk was super friendly and so sweet. There was food at the hotel and was really good. Loved that it was walking distance from all the fun activities.

There was some bugs on the roll down blinds that where dead. We just closed the curtains fully and didn't look anymore. The bed was alittle sqeaky every time you sit down it made noise but we where barely in the room.

That the elevator was broken, & us as seniors had to struggle carrying our luggage up to our room. It would have been nice to have had someone available to have done that while the elevator was broken, my husband has Parkinson's disease & cancer so it was a struggle for him as well as me helping him & that luggage. Wasn't a good thing.

we didn't do breakfast but Justin went above and beyond when we went to Four Points instead of the Hampton Inn and gave us the same kind of room like at the Hampton Inn

the water was so soft when I took a shower and it felt like I didn't rinse off properly and I would have like a slip resisted mat in the bathtub

Great location, free convenient parking, staff at check in was extremely courteous and helpful.

Well, … just one thing. Taking the only elevator out of service without notice on a weekend night is never ok. Lugging bags up to 3rd floor room put a negative spin on the entire experience.
