Super 8 by Wyndham Cookeville, TN

Motel was remodeled two years ago and they did a very nice job. Room had wood floors and a tiled bathroom with high end faucets. Bed was comfortable with soft linens. Room did have a frig and microwave. They offer a bag breakfast with a muffin and granola bar. You can also pick up a yogurt or apple to go. Coffee was plentiful. They have a waffle station if you have time to make a waffle. Since so many places have discontinued breakfast of any kind, we were pleased at what they offered.

The room was clean but my white socks got dirty from walking on the floors. There seemed to be some kind of residue left over from the cleaning.

Due to conty Covid regulations, the desk clerk said that oatmeal and coffee were the only things that would be available for breakfast.

Disappointed regarding very limited breakfast offering. Thought, at least, they could have provided a roll etc. in sealed package. Tub full on water, drain not having been pulled. Also could not figure out who sink drain worked, but flipping in like a cookie. Desk clerk said a lot of comments regarding the same thing. Instructional notice would have been helpful!

Great quiet and cozy location with a nice breakfast! I love the atmosphere, traveled as a family of 3 and my toddler was always accommodating by the staff. Bright lighting from the outside parking area into the entrance of rooms , this is a very important feature!

There’s nothing coming to mind that I did not like about the super8.

No firm pillows. Could use lighting around the suitcase stand area. The bed lights attached to the bed lamps didn't work. Small details.

Quiet area at night. Clean facility. I really liked the art pieces above the beds. We stayed at our first Super 8 in Corbin, KY several years ago, and that's when I fell in love with the decor. The upgrades were very nice, and there were plenty of outlets. I liked the small open chair next to the window. We will definitely stay at more Super 8s down the road. The shower head had very good pressure. Thank you for putting care into your facility. Keep up the good work.

Breakfast was just some stuff in a bag??? Not sure why unless it's because of covid. You should still offer the hot breakfast and for those that are afraid to come down and partake, well they can just skip it. Maybe offer the bags for them and the hot for the rest of us. Otherwise discount the prices.

An additional ice machine located on the 2nd floor would be nice. Most places where I have stayed in the past have one on each floor, usually with a vending drink machine.

The location was perfect, Room was clean, bed was comfy, area was quiet, and the staff was super helpful and friendly.

Our sink had a slow drain the curtain in our room didn’t go all the way down so we had to put our bags in-front of the window but it was just minor things.

The room was clean. The beds were decent. The staff was friendly. Coffee was good.

There were only 2 pillows on the beds. Had to request more towels/cloths as there weren't enough for our group(number of guests wasspecified in the reservation). The breakfast was just a muffin and chex mix in a bag. There was a bowl with apples in it as well. It was difficult locating the hotel. Not clearly visible from the street.

The towels/washcloths were about as cheap/rough as they possibly could be. I would think w the Wyndham name attached they would have provided better towels/washcloths. the bed linens were very nice- I can’t understand why Wyndham would cut corners but supplying such terrible towels/washcloths.

Desk was super helpful the night we checked in and very friendly. Room and breakfast or great for the price we paid.

People smoking outside, right near the rooms. Gentleman throwing trash down off the second floor balcony into the flowerbeds near the trash bin.

Clean, comfy and everything worked as should. Customer service was excellent as well.

The faucet was a little loose, but I spoke with the person at the front desk and they said they'd get maintenance right on it. It did not effect the use of the faucet, I was just bringing it to their attention before it broke.
