The breakfast was very nice and the room was clean and new. The pillows were blocks of foam. My main complaint was the pool was closed and the noise from the room next door was too much. The location is very good and for the price a great place to stay.

I love the free breakfast. Love having the pool available even with the beach so close. Love that it’s dog friendly. Love the quality of the rooms especially the suite.

the one complaint I have (which is so small that I won’t knock any stars or lower my rating) is that this is the kind of hotel that gives you the small square pillows to sleep with. instead of providing normal queen size pillows or even King size pillows, the pillows they have on their beds are too small for a good night sleep. Last stay we had, we stayed in the suite which had a pullout couch. when we called for extra bedding for the pullout, we were provided with bedding but they had already ran out of pillows from other guests realizing the small pillows would not be enough. This place is almost perfect if they would just provide normal sized pillows.

The staff is awesome; especially Holly is so fun and helpful. Really appreciate the heart-felt, positive energy she brings to the place. The hotel is almost 30 years old, and they are working on updates the best they can. We initially had a room without a freezer unit upon check-in, and they immediately moved us to a much nicer room upstairs with a freezer. Such a great customer experience! Thank you again!

The location was good, did not like the u-turns to get to the hotel and to leave but overall great location. The breakfast was great, something for everyone to enjoy!

The mini fridge never got cold enough to cool our drinks and the pool closed at 10, so leaving the beach, going to dinner, the kids did not get to enjoy the pool.

There was a verity for breakfast which is nice, and the cleaning staff was awesome. Bringing clean towels everyday which was very nice when you’re going to the beach, the pool, and showering everyday.

the parking lot is kind of small,and the door handle was a little loose.

Breakfast was very good. The staff worked very hard on accommodating the crowds.

There was a bit of a shortage on blankets. I saw the staff working very hard to keep up. I know it is hard to hire enough staff right now. Maybe bring in some temps to help on weekends.

The staff is exceptionally friendly, especially Holly! It's an older motel with near proximity to all the North Padre and Mustang Island beaches. Bay view from the rooms. We love it.

Prices are in general a bit too high for an older motel like this, but the location is great and the staff is fantastic, so we keep coming back.

Location was perfect. AC in the room, just the way we like it, really cold, comfy beds... Nice pool, perfect in the evening, good lighting. Breakfast was really good!

Everything. The staff was very friendly. Especially that I had my puppy they were very helpful. second time visiting Corpus this place has been the best. The breakfast was great. can’t wait to come back planning on staying here again.

Handicap room was right next to some kind equipment that made a horrible noise every morning for about 4 to 5 minutes. It woke me up every morning.
