Motel 6-Corpus Christi, TX - East - North Padre Island

Location and price...and the lady at the front desk in the mornings! She was very pleasant and friendly....overnight clerk on Tuesday night NOT SO MUCH!! Kids LOVED THE EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN POOL!!!

We had bugs...mostly water bugs in our room....constantly! We stay at this location very frequently and have NEVER had bugs before on any of our visits....possibly due to all the rain and high temps????? Ac worked like a meat freezer!!! Lol...

The staff was excellent and the price was very reasonable for a holiday weekend (4th of July). The room (263) was very clean - even cleaner than other higher hotel brands I’ve stayed in before. The only thing I’d knock them on regarding the room was that the weather stripping on the room door needed repair. I let management know and they added it to their maintenance list right in front of me which also impressed me. This little hotel is perfect for an overnight or weekend getaway to the coast.

I think the concrete on the property could use a regular pressure washing to get some of the dirt and sand off. It wasn’t horrible, but doing so would elevate the overall look of the hotel.

Housekeeping was very knowledgeable when I needed info on why there were no comforters on the bed. Everything was really clean in my room and dusted . I've stayed at other locations and they were not half as clean or friendly as this one.

The only thing I didn't like was that my bed had no comforter on it and that made the bed look like it hadn't been made. According to a female housekeeper they were doing away with the bed comforters

the location was great, close to beaches and downtown. Rooms were comfortable and staff were excellent. very helpful and friendly.defunately recommend if you want a nice clean budget Motel.

i did not have a fridge in the room

honestly I have no complaints for the price.. it’s clean, the area is quiet and the room is by far very clean. the people who work here have great attitudes and are very helpful.. I wish I found this place days ago when I was staying in a roach infested hotel that was the same price!

Next time make sure that the rooms are swept real good cuz when we walked in they were still send in the room but other than that everything was good

The front office staff and manager were very friendly and welcoming

The housekeeping staff was rude, I was running a few minutes late leaving my room and they wanted to stand there and watch me, I closed the door at least 5 times so they would stop watching me, I imagine there were other rooms to clean instead of watch me, I work housekeeping, I know that there were other rooms to clean, I will never go back because of that, the niceness of the front office staff can't make up for how uncomfortable they made me feel.

Location ,Pet friendly. Check in staff was very helpful and friendly.

Beds are small only 2 pillows, 2 towels. Lot of noise in the room above us. People walking around late at night slamming doors. Talking loudly .

I always stay here when i want something affordable & quick for the beach. It’s the cleanest motel 6 I’ve been too. The Hispanic lady in the front was the sweetest thing, ready to accommodate us with my aunt who has issues with stairs. They are transparent you get what you paid for.

Maybe no fridge or microwave in rooms but again I’m not paying for a suite, it’s just one night. The prices were high for this visit but i understand trying make your money on Father’s Day weekend.
