The staff was great. Really friendly people and made us feel welcome. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to our show at the House of Blues and feel safe. This was my first hotel stay since before Covid and it was fine. I would stay here again just for the staff and the location.

The added fees were somewhat surprising. I expected a few taxes but online my $124 room jumped up to $181. When we got there more fees were added by the facility. $32 more in fees which made it now $213 paid for a $124 room. The charge that did really bother me was the $15 dollar (which I was told they discounted) for parking. It was a two block walk from the parking lot to the hotel in over 100 degree heat. My friend and I are in pretty good shape so we were up to it, but anyone older or needing some assistance would find this unacceptable.

Fine location near the convention center. Actually very quiet compared to a major chain hotel nearby. Very relaxing sleeping environment . Fully equipped kitchen, bring your own “groceries”. Clean, no bugs. A/C, ceiling fan, nice TV, WI-FI Access , all pluses.

I was prepared to check out at 7:30 AM but the office does not open until 8:00 AM so I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes. Only a minor irritation as I was in no hurry. Wish there was a soft drink machine in the lobby.

My husband and me had a very short stay in this hotel but the client service was amazing. They were always helpful and very kind. We could order Uber eats without a problem! :D Maybe in the US this hotel is not a 5 star hotel but for European standards, this hotel is great!!

The Location was great!! Right next to the Toyota Center, restaurants, public transportation and parks. Our room had a big kitchen with all appliances included, the bathroom and the room were both very clean and beautifully decorated! The people at the front desk were super friendly, ready to answer any questions we had and available to help us out with anything we need! The owner (Mr. John) is a kind, polite and helpful man that treats each hotel guest as a personal guest! Thank you

Room is spacious, kitechennete well equiped. Location excellent for downtown, right at the more expensive Hotels. Great value for money

Rooms are on first floor, with no elevator (as expected, this was clearly stated on reservation page). Also, not the the newest setting, but clean and convenient.

It is great for the price. They are transparent on their website about what to expect. Room was in good shape. kitchen included. Slightly smaller room but again, I wasn’t expecting more than I got. Staff was great. I arrived extremely early and for a small fee I was able to get in the room by 11am.

I didn’t see the continental breakfast any morning.

Athens Hotel & Suites does an excellent job of being what it is -- basic accommodations done well. John, the manager, shows a great interest in safety and personally welcomed me to the property. The sheets and even the towels are pressed. Bring your own soap, shampoo, etc., but merchandise available at front desk.

It felt like a small apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked wonderfully.

There appeared to be a red stain resembling blood on the other side of the quilt. Other than that, the place itself was very clean and smelled nice. There was NO standing water in the shower which is AWAYS a plus for me. There was 1 place setting, no silverware, no glassware, no cookware, and no coffee maker so don't expect to be able to prepare a meal here.

the staff were friendly and the rooms we’re good. honestly reminded me of a mini apartment. breakfast wasn’t like eggs and sausage but they did serve waffles, yogurt, cookies, hard boiled eggs, juice etc. was still good and filled me up.

they didn’t have garbage bags but nothing to worry about.

It's a comfortable room, with a nice kitchen, bathroom and wifi for a fair price. There's no fee for receiving your online purchases, shipped to the hotel, the staff is very thoughtful, the continental breakfast is ok, with waffles, an egg, cookies, a fruit and orange juice. There's coffee at the room so you can make it and it's very close, walking distance, to a nice supermarket called Phoenicia.

It's understandable, but for the pandemia they are not cleaning your room daily, you have to ask it if you want to, it was not an issue, just to be aware of, the blinds do not close entirely so in the morning it can be bright if the sun is shining, because the curtains in front of them are not blackout ones, the air conditioning is kinda loud and you have to go up and down in stairs, if you have heavy luggage or accessibility is needed, it can be an issue because there are 2 flights of stairs to access the rooms.
