Motel 6 Texas City, TX - I-45 South

Decent price for what you get. AC works great! friendly staff. Pretty clean for the most part. Has a microwave and mini fridge.

When we arrived after our 13 hour trip, there was nobody at the front desk to check us in. There was another lady waiting there that said she had been waiting for over 30 minutes for someone. The door to our bathroom is filthy. One good wipe down with bleach would make a world of difference. The water pressure is horrible in the shower. The beds are kind of hard but some people prefer that. I still slept great 😊

I liked the convention location, just off of I45. The amenities were perfect, and the room was clean and comfortable. Dining was also convenient, so everything was perfect. I will definitely be returning in the very near future, and when I do, I plan to benefit from the laundry room as well.

There was nothing to dislike.

Did not understand the policy of having the guests with dogs stay on the 3rd floor. If your dog has been good all night, no accidents, but needs to get out in the morning, having to ride the elevator down is inviting an accident in the elevator or lobby. Luckily, we did not have an accident in either place, but that was my only negative comment about my stay. I requested a room at the end of the hall, close to an exit on the 1st floor. I got a room on the 3rd floor close to the elevator.

The woman that waited on me at the front counter was extremely friendly. She was kind even when I lost my room key. They were there in the morning when we needed extra help. Very nice family.

There were no smoking rooms.

Jason was awesome. Got double charged by booking.com. He got it squared away fast. His customer service skills are above and beyond.

Price was a little high for what it was

Handicap room should have roll in shower or at least something in tub to not be so slick Beds were way too hard, Didn't sleep much.

I loved the style of the room, how clean the room was, staff was very friendly, very easy to book room and leave hotel, great price for the location.

The only thing I can say I didn't like was the noise our neighbors were making. They had dogs and a child that stayed up all night making noise. Other then that it was amazing.

I wasn’t expecting much as it was the least expensive motel in the area. However, the room was clean (I even slept in the bedsheets) and modern. I had a very comfortable stay and will definitely stay there again.

The bath towels were rough like sandpaper. Didn’t mind too much as it felt good to exfoliate my back a bit. Lol

They staff was very pleasant

The room was very nice the bed was comfortable the overall was a great experience. Will stay again when we come back

I like how the facility was built differently compared to the other Motel 6 I’ve been in. It doesn’t have a balcony but it’s new and clean.

The washer needs to be fixed or replaced. One of them is broken.
