Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Braunfels I-35

Staff was very kind courteous and helpful when I inquired about restaurants in the area. One evening I asked for extra towels and the gladly gave me a few.

The hotel is a little dated, the carpet in the room looked old an dirty. I had a pillow case that was either stained or dirty, so I left it aside. Stayed there 5 nights and ran out of Kleenex on the 2nd night, and they never noticed it when they made up the room. I saw that they had boxes of wood flooring in the office, so I'm guessing they'll soon start updating some rooms.

Man at front desk was very aggressive about getting my email address. They already have it (I've stayed here several times this year) , Wyndham Rewards has it and Booking.com has it. I don't want any more junk mail. He also wouldn't accept the check-in paperwork until I filled out the cleaning staff TIP. He wanted me to agree to tip the staff before I even checked in. I wonder if the State of Texas has investigated him to make sure he isn't stealing staff tips. They had nice front desk staff after the remodel. They need to bring them back. Carpets are still filthy after the remodel. Room walls had something splashed on them and we're never cleaned.

Reasonable price for the rooms. Quiet area even when the hotel is packed. Great location near events/dining/fast food and grocery stores. Short drive to concerts at Whitewater Amphitheater.

Staff was great, it was cold and comfy.

My roku stick didn't work on their tvs, ask for assistance and he said it was due to my stick is installed in the back and would allow to load. It suxed not having our preferred channels. But we watched TV the old fashioned way with commercials.

I loved the lady in the front desk. Dont recall her name, but her service was beautiful! I booked thru Booking.com and had to extend it in person, she helped me extend it and she respected the lowest price that she found online! On the day of my check out, I accidentally left some items behind, including money, and she personally went up to my room and retrieve my belonging and the cash personally! Did not see her to give her my gratitude.

Breakfast was good room was clean location was good no issues at all with staff they were good too

For me the swimming pool was the problem the water was sooooooo dirty it was super cloudy. So we waited the day to see if in the morning the water was clean and nope still dirty as heck

location is perfect for what I came to do.

I think the bathroom could use a better cleaning. tub, fixtures and floors or maybe they just need updating. Bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. I would appreciate having more than one cup of coffee in the room without having to ask for it.

The staff was very nice and helpful,it is close to many things.there is a gas station,many restaurants,aNd a Walgreens.right next door.

Though i always saw staff cleaning ,the place looks like it could use new carpet and paint. Low water pressure ( made it hard for a tall person to shower)

Service was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Price was excellent. Location was convenient for travellers: just off the highway, and close to numerous restaurants, though not within walking distance of tourist attractions. All in all, a really fine experience.

Could use usb ports at the desk and night table as well as electrical outlets, but that is a very minor quibble.

Solid breakfast, great rooms, great AC, very clean. Staff was great and always helpful. There was even an issue with the building power overnight but it was quickly resolved. Overall a GREAT steal at the prices they charge.

The property was in a great location. Breakfast was available but there are many restaurants within walking distance. I had the king room suite it was very clean. Bed was comfortable. The bath room was clean and tub shower was big. Coffee pot in room was great for early morning coffee while sitting in separate seating room. Wet bar sink and refrigerator were convenient. Pool was nice but still to cold to use. Had an adult beverage poolside while enjoying the sunset. I would highly recommend Microtel. Price was good wasn’t expecting all hotel offered.

No complaint
