Americas Best Value Inn New Braunfels

I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff very nice and friendly. I will stay here again when I visit this area.

First floor room with pet. Free continental breakfast, not large but satisfactory.

No where on your site did you say there was a pet fee ($25), and you stated continental breakfast was $5 (free). The main dog area was small and full of stickers, pulled several out of our puppies feet.

Nicely spruced up room. It looked freshly done. Everything looked new, the paint job, the furnishings, the carpet, the bed, all looked fresh and new. Easy check-in. Everything looked very clean.

The only thing I thought was strange was the front door. It had a big gap at the bottom and no weather stripping. When someone run their car in front of the room the exhaust fumes came in the room. Besides the fact, that it will lose at lot of heat/cool. One other thing: don't try to get there during rush hour, traffic there is horrible.

Breakfast was not offered due to COVID-19, but we weren't going to partake anyway. Also, because of COVID, room services were limited to removing used towels and replacing with clean fresh ones. This was done every day without fail. (Our last visit was at a Marriott Courtyard at twice the price with no laundry services. We had to go to the front desk every day for clean towels even though their COVID update indicated that the room would be serviced.) Also at America's Best Value Inn, we had glasses and coffee cups replaced as well as coffee for the coffee maker.

We didn't have any complaints.

Adequate parking adjacent to hotel rooms. Well-kept, semi-private swimming pool, easily accessible from hotel rooms in the parking lot

Located adjacent to a busy highway 46 with high volume of traffic and noise. Very bright street lights across the street glare into the windows making it difficult to get the room dark enough to sleep well at night, even with curtains closed. Hot tub never got hot. The surface on the bottom is very rough and uncomfortable to sit on or lean on.

Even though they were extremely short staffed, the managers/owners themselves went out of their way to ensure our stay was exceptional. They were very helpful in information for the area as well. Thank you!

Doors stuck and we had to lift up the door to make sure it locked properly before leaving.

It was quiet and comfortable. My husband and I had a relaxing time by the pool.

I would say the limited towels. We only had 2 towels to use when we showered.

They went above and beyond to clean a room to check in early. Reserved a room with 2 queens size beds and provided enough towels for my guests and me. Breakfast was delicious and convenient.

Because of covid there was no breakfast provided at the hotel; however there were many restaurants in the area that were open and providing breakfast. Area was very convenient to shopping and restaurants. The manager was very helpful in making the stay an excellent one.

There was a lot of construction going on in the area which caused backup traffic and making it hard to get to destinations.
