Holiday Inn Express of Salado-Belton, an IHG Hotel

The person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. My MIL even commented that it was the most comfortable bed she’s ever slept in! Toiletries included were perfect. We didn’t use the pool area but could see it from our room….very nicely done! Definitely a step up from most motels!

The only negative we had was that the vending machines were all either empty or broken. We were all hungry and really thirsty after arriving at 10:30 pm from a late wedding and were really disappointed not to be able to get a cold beverage and snack. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Loved the pool! Check-in staff was very professional and friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately, our toilet over flowed around midnite. Called down to the front desk, gentleman said the hotel runs on septic and that we should be careful about the toilet paper amount we use, he could send a plunger up. ??? Seriously? He then offered to put us in another room, thankfully.

. Third floor off the elevator was dirty. Other than that, room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.

Coffee was weak, breakfast seemed stark so we went elsewhere. Front desk greeted us very nicely but after that didn’t look up when we came and went.

Your front desk staff is seriously amazing. They are so sweet and friendly.

Your TV remotes are complicated. I do not smoke but it would be nice if you had a nice smoking area so when you walk in you do not have to pass people standing in front of building smoking.

This was an unplanned stay during the ice storm in Texas. After several almost wrecks, I got on booking.com and found the closest place to stay. We had been stuck on the highway for 10 hours with no food. They fixed us up with snacks from behind the counter, drinks and a warm room. The following morning they fixed us up a bag full of breakfast goodies for the unknown length of the travel home. Never have we been to Salado. But we will definitely be back. The staff was compassionate as the lobby was full of weary travelers. Five Star Team at this hotel!

Very convenient to and from the Bell Co Expo. The staff was very friendly and helpful finding great places to eat! The pool was also nice.

The beds were a little too hard, for my liking.

I absolutely love stopping at this hotel on the way to Freer, Tx. It is so nice. The parking lot is huge for a truck and 25ft trailer, they except pets, the breakfast is great, the rooms are very clean, the pool area is amazing, and the staff is very pleasant.

The location was convenient. We got in late around 12:30am, so we slept in and missed the breakfast. However, the noise from the hallway of people passing by was bothersome.

It was a bit noisy. And, for $150 a night I expected a few more amenities. I was thankful to find the room and to have a place to stay, but I was expecting more.

Everyone was helpful and patient with us. My father is 88 and was treated very well by all.

The WiFi was slow and the network ports were not set up with DHCP It would have been excellent if I could have gotten an IP using a cable.
