Candlewood Suites Temple, an IHG Hotel

I need to note that I did not stay at this property. However, the manager at this property, Desirae, is excellent and very helpful in refunding my money.

Booking.com is awful. They made it very difficult to refund my money. They kept making excuses. Basically, it was very clear that they didn't want to refund me my money. NEVER USING BOOKING.COM AGAIN. (Also, they do NOT save you money. It costs more thru Booking.com than going to the hotel directly)

The size of the room was spacious, neat and clean. I like the kitchenette as well. It was a pretty peaceful stay.

Two decent sized spiders were found in our room during our stay.

I enjoyed the room amenities and comfort of the bed! We spent 2 days and got great rest for time we spent and felt energized. The dishes and kitchen area were charming and made it easy for us to prepare food.

It would have been great to have a continental breakfast for the full days we stayed there! The noise level of the AC system was a bit loud, but it was tolerable and we were able to adjust it, and adjust to it.

Everything was great. The front desk was receptive, informative, and pleasant. Not robotic but personable. The room had a mini kitchen (I stayed 3 nights). I utilized the exercise room which had a rack of dumbbells 5-50 lbs and a couple of treadmills. It was fairly quiet, but I was very near the end of the hall which was good for me - rm 226.

Having to surf through the TV channel by channel, I couldn't see how to access the guide if there was an option for it. I don't really watch TV, so it wasn't a big deal.

Room was clean and furnishings were in great condition. Had a well stocked snack room in the lobby area.

Would have liked to have a breakfast available but I don't think there was enough room in this hotel. Could have used an extra chair in the room for a guest I had visiting. Only had the office chair available. Remote was missing from the room but was able to get one from the front desk.

Great staff and location. Well maintained facility. Really liked the bed and pillows.

No ice machine in the building, each room has a refrigerator with an ice maker but they do not leave them running so unless you are staying multiple days you will have to buy ice if you need it.

The gym was open, the room was real homie with its kitchen and large fridge, along with its kitchen accessories. Pots, pans, cups, mugs plates and dish washer. Big room to move around easily for 2 occupants and the shower had nice body wash n shower gel. I'll stay again if i can get a better view.

The view wasn't at all appealing, I had no way to see my vehicle from the room. I'm one to keep an eye on my property for security.

Liked how bed pillows have cases embroidered with words Firm, Soft... Nice touch.

Sorry there is now only one chair per room. When eating the other guest has to sit on the bed.

Was told there was no breakfast served...large bathroom...missed counter around sink...assumed no counter due to wheel chair room ..no one knew what a rack for suitcase was..???
