Hyatt Place Salt Lake City Airport

We booked our room really late at night after our flight had been cancelled and rebooked for the next day, and after traveling for the over 24 hours at that point, we just wanted to sleep for a few hours in a real bed instead of the airport. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we checked in and out. The room was exactly what we needed - a clean and comfortable bed. And although we didn’t end up using it, we also really appreciated the staff booking the airport shuttle for us for the next morning/letting us know that if the shuttle wasn’t running at the time we needed, they would book a Lyft for us free of charge.

It would’ve been nice if there was a way to just walk from the airport to the hotel since distance wise it really is so close

The staff was friendly, the facility was clean and the breakfast was acceptable. Our room was exceptionallly spacious and clean, minus a large stain on the carpet, but that wasnt a concern. The bathroom was nice and roomy, however it was a bummer not to have a walk in shower for my mother in law. Apparently only the rooms with king sized beds have walkin showers.

I didnt like that there were no walkin showers in the double bed rooms and the room was quite a bit of a walk for someone who is handicapped and not in a wheel chair. We were in a room that was the furthest from the elevator. Also the pool was extremely cold for an indoor pool.

We got stranded after our flight was cancelled due to a snowstorm and we easily made a reservation and were able to catch the shuttle to a warm, friendly, helpful hotel nearby. The experience should have been awful, but the amazing staff and close location turned that around quickly. We were able to rebook a flight in the early morning and get a ride on the shuttle right back to the airport.

Beer or wine for sale (it was a long day ;)

Just a short 5-minute drive from the airport. The room was spacious, with 2 queen beds and a large sofa in a separate seating area. The breakfast was hot, plentiful, and had a great variety. The breakfast seating area was also large. The front desk manager Joey couldn't be a nicer guy!

I felt like the shower head was low, and I'm only 5 feet tall so you can imagine what my 6 foot 3 inch husband thought of it! The air conditioner didn't really keep the room very cool for all the noise it was making!

Helpful desk staff, clean room, comfortable bed, toothbrush and toothpaste received since I had no luggage, getting receipt quickly when I called days after my stay, shuttle back to airport had happier driver

Breakfast options were lacking. Coffee was very weak. Angry shuttle driver from airport, Lack of warm enough blanket. failure to provide receipt when I checked out and requested one.

It was clean and the rooms were very big! We were on top floor and facing South we had a wonderful view of the mountains. It felt very comfortable and relaxing. We loved the breakfasts every morning, and enjoyed the exercise room.

The swimming pool was being remodeled. We chose the hotel because we were excited about the pool so that was disappointing (although we were thankful that we were able to swim in partner hotel).

Great staff, everything was clean

My only complaint is the lighting in the bathroom. Very dim with one circular light that takes a moment to think before it goes on all the way. Having a brighter light so it doesn’t feel like you’re showering in the dark would be nice but is just a minor critique.

Clean rooms. Good size pool.

Lack of shampoos,conditioners & pillows for a family room. No tissues or lotions. Tv is also in a strange place. You could only see half of it in the living room or half of it in the bedroom section. The breakfast sandwich was blah. Glad they offered cereal in a pot instead. I wish they would run full hot breakfast, because the room prices are same price as when they offered hot breakfast. Better blankets would be better as well for the children. The pool was cold. Toilets are located down the hall. They want you to fully dry off before going to bathrooms. Another bad design flaw if you have children. The walls are thin. If you’re kids move to go to the toilet,you may get a phone call told to be quiet. Apart from those small flaws it’s a nice place.

Super convenient to airport. Staff were very helpful. Pool was good for a quick dip for the kids and the gym was good for my morning workout. It doesn't take long to get downtown.

Our room was near the elevators and the hall traffic was quite loud. Breakfast did not have gluten-free and dairy-free options. They had oatmeal but it wasn't specifically GF. They had yogurt and a hot breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and sausage. If you have gluten and dairy allergies, bring something for breakfast.

Everything was clean and nice, ample amenities, helpful, friendly staff. Was able to use the scale in the gym to weigh our luggage

The breakfast was all served with single-use, disposable plates and cutlery. Plastic cups everywhere, doesn't matter if they are "recycled".
