Tru By Hilton Salt Lake City Airport

The hotel was clean and modern with a friendly staff and easy to access location from the highway. Breakfast was basic as expected - scrambled eggs, a pancake bar, oatmeal and the standards like coffee and juice. This menu will get you through in a pinch but I needed something more substantial, as did hubby, so we visited a local breakfast spot before heading to Zion National Park.

The breakfast offerings could have been more robust. I'm a sucker for an omelette bar, but fully aware of the challenges. Overall, the hotel is in a remote location, so you'll have to drive anywhere you need to go

What an awesome experience first time staying at a Tru by Hilton. The facilities were new and clean and comfortable. The staff was very patient and helpful. Good room rate with all the hotel conveniences like room fridge, water filling stations, pool table, fitness center. Nice hot breakfast. Hand sanitizers and wipes everywhere. The hotel room had Not Soap, Radio brand shampoo and conditioners which were awesome. Motion activated fan in the bathroom. Also, nice large TV with all the premium channels too! Free parking first night. I would definitely stay here again.

The soap dispenser tube next to the bathroom sink required a tough forceful squeeze to dispense the soap. I would prefer a pump dispenser to avoid touching the tube with my full hand where everyone else before me had touched.

There were four of us, and we all agreed that the property was shiny clean and very comfortable. The staff on more than one occasion was accommodating and warm.

My only suggestion is to not have the music on quite so loud. Especially during Covid times when everyone is wearing a mask and it’s hard to hear anyway, the addition of having music in the background made it difficult for both me and the staff to hear each other.

I have stayed at TRU before and I would highly reccomend this spot again. I walked in to be welcomed by the smell of fresh hot cookies which was a nice surprise. Coffee and tea are 24 hours. The airport shuttle is quick and convenient you just need to call once you collect your luggage. The room was exceptionally clean and had a bunch of small touches that I loved like make up remover towels, plenty of hooks, space to put bags so they don't have to be on the floor, and the bed amd sheets were very soft. There is also a water filter and lots of games in the lobby that both adults and kids seemed to enjoy. Finally, the staff were very friendly. Eva (hope I spelled that right) mailed a postcard for me and I really appreciated it. The rest of the staff were great and always trying to keep the place very clean. There are restaurants within walking distance too.

Coffee was very weak and they started packing up breakfast at 9. No light by bed.

they were out of coffee before they noticed. The wait for them to make new coffee was about 25 minutes. That was a long wait when you are trying to get breakfast and checkout

Loved a shower rather than a tub. Having a hot breakfast was a real plus.

The hotel is totally sterile and felt more like a hospital room. No pictures on the wall, no microwave or coffee maker, furniture that felt more like a college dorm. It was totally missing a life. For $147 a night we were expecting to have it look comfortable and inviting. The beds were comfortable but had no color everything was white.

Upon check in we were informed that the king room we originally booked wasn’t available and we’re given a double queen bed room instead. We had been traveling all day from Mt. Rushmore and honestly the staff made the stay enjoyable. I had stayed at the Tru by Hilton in Nashville so wasn’t worried about the room or amenities. Precy was so amazing at breakfast and Mark went above and beyond to accommodate our request with the trailer we had. I would gladly come back here to this location when visiting Salt Lake City.

It was a very comfortable, clean, and chill beautiful hotel. I loved how comfy and good the room was. I do recommend asking for a room with a view of the mountains! I stayed here 2 times (with an interval of 1 week) and on the first time I was on the last floor and facing the mountains and it was just incredibly beautiful. For sure was sad to not have had the same luck (regarding the view) the second time. I would love to stay here again.

The breakfast was disappointing. I was *very* happy that there were bagels, but besides that, both the quality and variety of things weren't great. I would expect more for this hotel and at this price.

We waited for 15 minutes at the front desk with no one on site. We went across the parking lot, and the lady at the other hotel was not able to find her. So we went back over to the one we had reservations for, and she had just walked back to the counter. The desk clerk said, had to step away for a moment to use the bathroom. For more than 25 minutes. Should have had someone else cover the front desk. Checked in around 7ish.
