Comfort Inn & Suites Vernal - National Monument Area

The breakfast was good. Plenty of choices to make most folks happy. The location was great, close enough to town to enjoy all Vernal has to offer. Far enough to be very quite and peaceful.

The only thing keeping me from giving a "10" was when I asked the staff to not change our sheets. I only needed to get towels, pull the trash and vacuum. None of this was done. I mentioned this to the nice lady at the front desk and she got the trash removed and gave us clean towels. This was most likely a communication break down. That is the only problem we had!

The king accessible room was fantastic, plenty of room for a wheelchair to move around. Plus the bathroom was fantastic, large and well designed.

The room 211 didn't have a lower door lookout, just the standard height one. ADA rooms should have a lower one also in the room. Staff/corporate needs to know what ADA and service dog regulations are and don't interject their own rules.

I like the design of the hotel and how nicely it’s been maintained. It was very clean. When I had an issue, it was resolved immediately with minimal resistance. Management solved the problem promptly. The attendant was very sweet and helpful.

Other loud guests made the stay uncomfortable at first but then the issue was taken care of. And of course it’s not the hotels fault that guests can sometimes be boisterous. So I really appreciated the management accommodating me and making my stay comfortable.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Convenient location.

TV didn't work. Staff member finally got it working. Breakfast food gone when we went at 8:00. Waited a while and did get scrambled eggs.

The room was comfortable and spacious. We also had our dog with us, so that was nice also, that she could stay too. The breakfast was delicious. I don't know what they serve on weekdays, but over the weekend it was biscuits and gravy, eggs, ham, sausage and waffles! They also had cold cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc. The kids enjoyed the pool for awhile also.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The breakfast was good. I liked the water dispenser with the lemon water on one side in the lobby. Staff was very good and attentive. I felt it was safe and secure. Proximity to beautiful area!!

More snack/food availability in the lobby. It is a little isolated. TV sucked!! Turned on on twice. It froze up. Little access.

Checking in with the front desk staff Was quick and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable

The Breakfast Attendant would check the Hot Items more to see if the Hot Warmers needed more Eggs or Sausages or Bacon and fresh fruit

We stayed in room 119 and I liked the high ceilings and the handicap access. It was almost like having 2 rooms because there was a bed in the front room and then another bed and sofa behind a closed door.

Only a minor inconvenience.. just one door in and out.

I can see why the ratings for this motel are so high. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our early check-in and other special requests. The room was spacious and clean, there was a huge counter in the bathroom, outlets and lamps on each side of the bed, a fridge with freezer and microwave. Housekeeping service was excellent! There were plenty of ‘must wear mask’ signs but there were also guests who couldn’t read.

Nobody was enforcing the mask rule. People were sitting in and passing through the lobby without masks and the front desk person did not say anything. I did not feel safe walking through the halls and lobby, and now I am afraid to do anything with my friends in case I contracted COVID-19.

Quiet comfortable room. For 1 night easy access to highway and several restaurants nearby, a few walking distance. Would definitely return. Great value and friendly staff.
