Food was nice, facilities were nice and clean, room was clean and nice. Overall very nice, just a bit pricey imo for what it is. If the Sauna would have been included for overnight guests or offered at a discount I feel that would have sweetened the pot. I live in a big east coast city, so perhaps I'm just out of touch for what is the going rate of things in the area.

Check in process was smooth once we had wifi. Traveling there we had no service, so the process wasn't clear until we arrived. No biggie, probably our lack of looking into the way it works.

We were in the area for a family wedding. The room was just what we needed (a suite so my sister could share with my husband and me), and it was close to the wedding venue. TJ, the manager, was gracious and helpful when we asked about checking in an hour early so we could change for the wedding.

The in-room coffee situation was ridiculous. It was a kind of French-press setup, but the instruction booklet for heating up the water had tiny type that was nearly unreadable, and the coffee packets were, well, not user friendly. They were meant to sit on the edge of the cup, and you poured water into them, which then drained down into the cup or pot. Also, there was every kind of sugar/sugar substitute you can imagine, but no creamer. I believe the instructions on the website said we were welcome to go to the restaurant in the morning if we wanted to get some half & half -- so ... in our PJs??!?

The food was 10/10! The fries were unique and tasty. And the staff was so nice. Restaurant staff were great. I liked that they upgraded our room while the cabins were being renovated. And it was cool to explore the waterfall.

I think expanding things to do on the property would be a nice inclusion. The other properties I’ve been to like this provided a fire pit with s’mores + toppings! That would be such a cool addition. AND/OR space heaters on the patio. Also, replacing or washing the shower curtains would be nice.

Nice facilities. Wonderful food, nice staff, comfortable bed.

We were in room 15, it is right next door to maybe a mechanical closet? There was a humming sound like a furnace, air conditioner, fridge or some other equipment that was loud and did not stop. It was so bad that I had to put ear plugs in to try to sleep. Room 15 is also down a hallway only accessible through the main building/restaurant or side door - you won't see it from the parking area - was very hard to find in the dark, in the rain.

Food in Restaurant was good. Staff in bar and restaurant were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Housekeeping we arrived on Thursday and left on Sunday and we never saw the housekeeping staff - they never checked on our room while we were there. We had to ask the staff in the restaurant for additional towels. Garage cans were small so they were over flowing when we left. Whirlpool bath was deep could have used a grab bar to get in and out of tub.

Clean! Fun funky retro theme with comfortable bed and easy self check in. I would definitely stay here again. Lots of weekend local entertainment in a cute little village.

I would have felt safer with an interior safety lock especially since I was traveling alone. Also, the ice maker was pretty far down the hall but I was awoken on a Sunday morning at 7 am by the restaurant staff scooping out 4 large buckets of ice. Kind of annoying when on vacation.

This hotel is newer in a pretty spot nestled among the trees, linked to a great restaurant right off the highway. It is quiet, super clean, the beds and linens are comfortable and the staff cannot be friendlier. No tv's but the Wifi was good so we watched Netflix, and there was plenty of hot water.

It seems to be a work in progress as they are still adding items to the rooms, like hairdryers, microwaves, televisions, etc. The price seemed high considering the lack of amenities but not for the general area in high season.

Clean, unique, modern but functional room. When we arrived the lights weren’t working but this was rectified very quickly with a huge apology and explanation. In house restaurant had local beers and the food was delicious. Simple quick check in and check out. Really helpful e-mail received before we arrived. Staff were really friendly and helpful. If we are ever in Mad River Valley again we would definitely stay here. Thank you to TJ and the team.

Nothing.

Room layout and styling, very clean, inside + outside access, restaurant. Self checkin / checkout with door code is a little weird but ok once you know.

A plain croissant or muffin would have been nice with the dripkit :) It's ok, we drove to the village and found what we needed at Three Mountain Coffee.

Hospitality Comfort. Food. Drinks. Location. Facilities. Landscaping. Overall layout of the place.

Steps from bed level to bathroom not handicapped accessible. No hair dryer. And of course being awakened at 6:30AM by workers banging on pipes and walls. Had to run water longer than 5-10 minutes to get hot. We left at 7:15AM without the checkout procedure.
