The breakfast was standard continental: eggs, several cereals, bacon, sausage, waffle maker, coffee, juice dispenser. The rooms were very clean. The linens were mid-high quality. The decor was impressive. The staff was super friendly. I've never stayed at a Best Western before, but this was better than the Hiltons we stayed in on this family vacation; generally we were very impressed and would definitely recommend this facility to friends and family.

The part of town isn't close to any of the attractions that we wanted to see, but the price difference made it worth the drive.

I always stay here when I'm visiting in the Mt. Vernon area. From the outside this hotel is very unassuming as it is older than the big newer hotels that have been built nearby, but inside the rooms are spacious and well decorated, the staff are unfailingly helpful and pleasant, and the price is right. The breakfast is good and the breakfast room is huge so you never have an issue with finding a table.

The building looked very nice from the outside driving up to it. The lobby was inviting and looked very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable and well stocked. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and polite but we really enjoyed Stacey at the front desk. He was a breath of fresh, friendly air. We stayed for several days and Stacey helped us find out about the metro and made our trip much nicer.

No pool

Room 222 where we stayed had a recent bathroom renovation. The new facelift included stone countertop and walk-in shower w/ waterfall showerhead (very nice!). the room was clean, the king size bed was very comfortable. All the room amenities worked as expected. At check-in and out, our concierge was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary Breakfast was very good, especially with fresh made pancakes and mini waffles.

The only thing I didn't like was the acoustical drop-in ceiling in the bathroom. The ceiling tiles did not seem to be part of the overall renovation and were showing their age and condition, but overall not a game changer.

We had breakfast both mornings. The variety was good, eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, and cranberry juice. The room was clean and comfortable. I check for cleanliness when I enter a hotel room. Mr. Stacey was very pleasant even welcoming us back after an evening of dinner with a good friend. I chose the hotel based on the price and the various reviews I had read.

I don't know if in some rooms you have bars in the shower for those of us mature persons who may need to hold on so we don't slip and fall. Other than than we enjoyed our stay and will choose the hotel again.

I didn't like how you guys says that we get 100$ back in too my account once we check out do a little more the breakfast change the time from 8-10 so people will have time eat

The staff is amazing, dedicated, professional, welcoming. Honestly, between the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms i cancelled a free room at a higher rated hotel that ive stayed at before and stayed here for the rest of the week while i was getting medical care in Northern Va. Sidney at the front desk is a gem

Further away from DC, than i had.originally thought, surrounding area not the best, but the hotel itself is very safe and pleasant. I typically like to stay at a larger property with more green/outdoor space, but i would definitely stay here again.

Nice and friendly staff. Mr. Stacey is a wonderful person to talk to. Property is clean and well maintained. Great breakfast every morning. Closer to many restaurants; subway is across the street. It is also closer to bus stop. You could take bus and metro to get to DC for a few bucks, but may take 90 minutes. Uber or Lyft may cost around $40.

I wish this was in DC 😊 1. Even though the shower seems like a newer update, since the showerhead won’t spray water till the far end, it could become slippery if you stand beyond certain point and apply soap. 2. There is no TV guide. You have to scroll through channels to select one. Can be tricky if you have little kids.

The room was clean, well air conditioned, had good TV stations, bathroom was excellent and everything met all our needs. The staff were exceptional as I had a few special requests and everything was taken care of perfectly. There are a number of new hotels in this area and this one has been here for a long time. It's been recently renovated and looks new on the inside. I'd definitely stay here in the future. For the price, this was exceptional.

The coffee was amazingly awful. I don't even know how you could make coffee that badly. Just go get coffee at the McDonald's up the street.

the only thing is that I should’ve picked a place closer to DC but other that that it was very good
