I stayed for two nights in early August 2023. Room 701, w. king bed. The staff is great. They allowed me to checked in a little earlier, and their check out time is 12.00pm, not 11.00am as most of the hotels these days. That is a big deal for me, because I'm a night owl and hate wake up early. Also my flight to Washington DC arrived early in the morning. So kudos here! It seems that the management and the whole team did great job running this property. It is very dated and needs a renovation, but it is extremely well kept and very very clean. I would even say that the hotel has kinda nice appearance. Everything works. The bathroom has plenty of different towels. The bed is comfortable for a 6.0ft / 192lb guy. AC works well and located in proper corner - not near the bed (I often create a barricade because I hate AC blowing next to me - not in this case). They have a vending machine next to my room. An Ice maker also was there. The room has a coffee maker, a fridge and a safe - nice! Wi-Fi is free and works well. You don't need any password to connect - quick and easy. The area is close enough to the Washington DC if you have a car. The hotel is walking distance to Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Target and great Silver Diner which is open till 11pm. It is also close to beautiful and historic town of Alexandria which I recommend to visit. The neighborhood around the hotel looks safe enough. Their free parking is tight, but I was able to find a spot both nights. No problem here.

Their pool was closed for a season. Not a deal breaker, but It was very hot outside in August, so would be nice to have it as well. The breakfast is very basic. No healthy or vegan options at all. Everything contains sugar and ton of calories. So do not count on it if you are on a diet to just trying to eat healthy / vegan food. The breakfast area is very small - it was fully packed. Not easy to find a spot to seat.

1. room and bathroom were clean 2. the bed was very comfortable, the bedclothes was clean and fresh 3. wifi worked well 4. you can order a free shuttle bus to the metro station, but getting there on foot doesn't take much time (about 25 minutes walk) 5. close to shops and bars 6. delicious breakfast!!! 7. the parking lot is quite large, although it can be quite tight during busy period

The facility itself was a little worn- with a very noisy air conditioner and a burning smell in my room from a lightbulb. Yet the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was much better that what I've received at other hotels that are much more expensive. Overall a very good place to stay.

My room was located next to a parking lot and it was very noisy plus the air conditioner was very noisy as well. This is a facitlity that gets a lot of use and it is starting to show its wear just a little.

Everything in the room was clean Two elevators. (Many places only have one) The hotel was very busy, so thankfully there were two. Comfortable. Good breakfast. Irish lady at front desk was very friendly. Many good places to eat at the mall a couple of blocks away.

Chair at desk was broken on one side, couldn't lean back on it. No vent fan in bathroom

The location is not far from 95 which makes getting around for work convenient. Reception staff are always helpful. Breakfast is provided which is helpful if you’re in a rush.

My original room smelled like cigarettes but I was able to get it changed. Then my room keys were deactivated due to a lack of payment which was annoying considering that no one contacted me about the issue prior to deactivating the keys.

I have to consistently travel to VA for work and this was surprisingly the cleanest room that I’ve stayed in since COVID. I always bring my own cleaning supplies and I was pleasantly surprised when not much came up on my Lysol wipe. Minimal dust and something peculiar on the tv screen but otherwise the room was effectively cleaned.

The ice makers broke but the on the main floor was still working. It was just a headache having to go downstairs for ice but in comparison to possible other bad options, this was fine.

The facility was very clean inside and out. Our room was very clean and neat and the morning breakfast was of an average score. It would have been nice to see some warm oatmeal since it was getting colder, but overall the breakfast was filling.

The only thing I didn't like was the age of the actual hotel. You could see signs of aging in the room. Where the heat/air conditioner was located you could tell they had tried to repair the air deflector shield. It was taped in several places.

The place felt safe and family oriented atmosphere; the room 725 was clean and smelled good (no odors at all, which I prefer); the bed linen and towels are clean and sparkling white; bed was high and comfortable; the floor is laminate(good); the shower had good water pressure; the breakfast had egg pâtés and bacon with waffles etc. Nice 7-stories hotel, walking distance to restaurants, marshals, target, mall(macys etc) with cinema.

Cons: -Loud outdated a/c, I had to turn it off for the night. -Strange girls in a lobby… looked like “night butterflies” to me.. Nothing’s bad from them, but puts a bit of a shade on a generally good basic hotel…. Just saying. And a big minus: They overcharged my booking’s charge for $5 for using the safe(!) It’s ridiculous and never happened to me before; chatting with booking’s customer service now…Beware of hidden charges!

The location was convenient with easy access and safe parking. Breakfast was delightful, and every staff member from front desk to housekeeping and breakstaff attendees were wonderful!

The hotel needs updating! Although clean, seeing staples in the wallpaper and holes of various sizes was disconcerting

I liked how fast check in was. I booked after midnight, and the man at the front desk was very quick to get me checked in. Good price for a late night stay

The location was a little sketchy. There were people in the parking lot all night making a racket, but I know the property can’t really help that. The shower and toilet also made strange noises, but it wasn’t too unsettling
