This hotel was in a great location; away from the chaos and traffic but close to public transportation. it seemed like a safe area as people were out walking their dogs and such. There was no additional charge for parking which is a huge plus for this area. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. We did not have any noise from the road and found it very easy to fall asleep.

Housekeeping knocked at the door despite the “do not disturb” sign. Since we were asleep and couldn’t get to the door quickly, she proceeded to open up the door. This occurred at 0900 and check out time wasn’t until noon. I explained that we were planning to try and leave at 11:00 (despite the noon check out time). Went back to sleep and yet another member of housekeeping knocked once again…so needless to say we had to leave early and felt rushed out. Even though they advertise a non check out, don’t expect to rest peacefully in the morning prior to that time.

Clean and nice breakfast options. Friendly breakfast and front desk staff. You can walk to the metro.

Location isn’t great, not walkable to any restaurants or shopping. No pool! The toilet was the loudest and longest lasting toilet I have ever experienced and it was right in front of the bed which was very inconvenient and a bad choice for a layout unless you are really comfortable with the other room occupants. The breakfast was great but PACKED - even in the week days we had to stand around to get a table. Elevators took forever but luckily we were on the second floor and used the stairs.

Everything about this hotel in my opinion was fantastic. The entire staff was great and very attentive to my needs. I was so happy with my stay that next time I'm in the DMV area, this will now be my preferred hotel to book.

I didn't find anything that I did not like about this hotel. Breakfast was delicious and they made sure everything was restocked immediately if food items were running low. Front desk staff was always ready to help when needed. The housekeeping staff always made sure my room was clean even when I was in the room. They were very respectful and I appreciated that.

Location was good. Hotel was clean and staff friendly.

Only entrance was stairs. Not conducive to carrying luggage.

Staff is super friendly and the entire hotel is incredibly clean. Included breakfast was simple but delicious - more than enough to start the day! Walkable to Metro station which is a GREAT deal for getting to DC or Old Town Alexandria. You can also rent bikes just across the street from the hotel to get to the Metro station even quicker. We went for a 20-minute ride on the bike trail to Port City Brewery - recommend it!

Very nice and quiet location, easy to walk to train station. But if u have a car, use spothero to book Parking downtown. Cheaper than public transport if more than 3 people and way more convenient.

Breakfasts, but valid for all CA and USA hotels. All are miles behind a good european breakfast. Kind of tired of omletes made of non eggs (or felt like), meat and cereals. No cheese, no vegetables, etc..

It was a very comfortable location, lobby and room. The cleaning for open spaces and my room was exceptional.

Due to a storm in my area and damages to my home didn't afford me the luxury of my full stay because l had to check out early. It was very disappointing the hotel charged me a full day stay for a early check out, which l have never experienced doing my travel ever.

Remodeled, modern design, free convenient parking. Free Breakfast, beautiful, spacious rooms with couch, and thermostat worked really well as I turned it up and down frequently and it just changed with me.

advertised free shuttle to metro but did not have. breakfast was okay, not really special, pillows too soft

This was a nice hotel. The 21+% tax for stays in Alexandria is tough to swallow but this place was still a good value. You can walk to Eisenhower station. From hotel to Washington DC took about an hour via public transport. (Note: we were there during time buses were provided from Eisenhower to Crystal City, where you can get on Metro). Tried driving to Crystal City and parking there... this didn't really save any time and was costly... Our advice.. get going a little earlier and take the bus/Metro...

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, quiet, and accommodating. The location was very convenient for both the DASH bus and the Yellow line Metro. The breakfast each morning had several options and was a nice way to start the day.

The temperature limiter on the shower made it so that showers were colder than we'd have liked, which made the showers unpleasantly cold at times. The faucets had ample hot water, so it wasn't a problem with the water heater, just the way the shower itself is configured.
