Staybridge Suites Charlottesville Airport, an IHG Hotel

The location was good. The room was large and was very clean and quiet. They had one of the best breakfast buffets we have had recently in a hotel. we were assigned the wrong kind of room initially, but the front desk resolved it immediately.

The bottom sheet on one of the beds was so pilled and rough we had to sleep on top of the top sheet and get a top sheet from the extras for sofa bed to remake the bed so we had a top sheet. The refrigerator made a chirping noise most of the night. it was especially loud when water was turned on in the bathroom. We did alert the staff to these problems and I am sure they will be addressed.

I had reserved a king room. I received a voicemail the day of my reservation apologizing that they didn't have a king and would give me a queen room instead. I understood this, but when I checked in I was told that the reason they didn't have a king for me was that another guest had extended their stay in the room meant for me. It doesn't seem right to me that I would be bumped from my reservation because the guest before me decided to stay longer.

This was the second time we stayed at STAYBRIDGE Hotel in Charlottesville VA--and during the same weekend as first stay the end of Dec 2020. It is the anniversary weekend of our daughter & her sweet husband. We do plan, right now, to make it a tradition so that, YES, we love staying here. STAYBRIDGE has everything one needs to be comfortable and because it is PET FRIENDLY, our Skye, stayed as comfortable as we did. Breakfast was complete with all the "FIXINS". Thank you STAYBRIDGE

There is nothing we did not like. Personnel is friendly, food is great, accommodations are perfect!!

Super great staff, very nice, polite and professional. Room was perfect for us. Have stayed there a few times and always great.

Due to (I assume) COVID and changes in policies there is no regular housekeeping. I had to request to get any vacuuming or slight housekeeping done in less than one week (8 day stay) - then I was overlooked for the "regular housekeeping" and had to go request it be done. Not sure of the issue or reasons.

A hot breakfast was available daily as well as dinner Mondays to Wednesdays. There was an outdoor patio with a fire pit, laundry facilities, indoor pool, business center and workout room. The workout room has a variety of equipment and weights--not just a treadmill or stationary bike. The hotel paid close attention to sanitation for COVID-19 protocols. Not once did I find an empty hand sanitizer. I watched one in the elevator get very low then it was replaced before it was completely done.

Our room was only refreshed once in the 10 days we were there.

very nice and welcoming facility and staff. fantastic breakfast and happy hour for guests. pool is decent. easy to find and close to shopping and restaurants.

mattress was getting a bit worn and lacking support especially on the one side that gets used most. The sofa bed was small and would not have been a good option for two adults but for kids we made it work.

The rooms were clean & very nice. The pool wass nice, too. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The food at breakfast was bland. The waffle machine AND the juice machine were BOTH out of order. The selection was very limited and not filled until close to ending time when we already leaving.

This location fit our needs while in C'ville. It provided a very comfortable facility for us to stay. The breakfast was excellent. We will definately consider this location next time we are in the area.

We were not advised of the procedure for our stay for the housekeeping rules. i.e. room would not be make up each day. How to handle towels and trash and other needs for our four day stay. I would be a good idea to inform guests of the procedure at check in.

Indoor pool Free laundry Breakfast Social hour

I had a discussion upon ck in that i was not going to b charged a pet fee of $75 because the ‘pet’ was 3lbs 9wk old puppy who was on the premises for less than 8 hours. Someone decided to add the charge to my card at 355am without discussing it with me. They were to hold 20$ for incidentals and then charged $55 to make it 75$ in total. I did not authorize the charge and in the morning a different desk representative said he couldn’t do anything about it despite my discussion the previous day. I want my card refunded.

The rooms were excellent. They were super clean and spacious. Beds were nice. Shower was great but you do have to turn it nearly all the way up for good hot water

The breakfast was a little lacking. There were many choices but it was picked over both times we went to breakfast. Items were running out so fast and not refilled timely.
