Super 8 by Wyndham Charlottesville

the room was super clean and it was easy check in/check out! the beds were super comfortable! i enjoyed how inexpensive this hotel was beginning how the other hotels were a $100 or so more expensive for the exact same thing! i definitely will stay here again if I’m ever in the area!

we had a housekeep wake us up at about 8 in the morning by knocking on our door, it felt very odd as to the hotel seemed to be a bunch of us who went out to a concert the night before and didn’t get to the hotel till 12 am or later, check out wasn’t until 11 so I was pretty upset to be woken up at 8 am. I also think a thicker blind or curtains would be nice as to our room had so much sun coming through the window in the morning. overall a very great hotel!

Room was very nice and clean when we arrived. we had a mini fridge which was able to hold all our cold items and a microwave plus coffee maker. Wi-Fi was great shower water was great stayed got the whole time I was in it and I like to take long showers my water at home don’t even stay that hot. had plenty of toilet paper, bath towels, rags. Everything was perfect and staff was extremely nice. I don’t know how this hotel looked before the new owners but I know know it is way worth the money I would usually pay $250 a night for something like this and also a plus it is right in middle of town so great location you are near absolutely everything! Also wanna add after reading past reviews I did not see one single roach/bug

wasn’t anything not to like

This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. I chose Super 8 because of the good reviews, but mainly because it fit my value budget. This hotel was cleaner than Hiltons I have stayed at and more comfortable as well. The location was fairly quiet but also very close to everything in Charlottesville. As a female traveling on vacation with my adolescent daughter, I felt safe the entire time I was in the hotel. The staff were attentive also. All in all, one of the best experiences I’ve had at a hotel in awhile. If you’re not needing a pool or all the extra “amenities”, but just looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable room, Super 8 is for you. I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I can list is the tub drained water and wouldn’t hold the water for a bath, so you could only do a shower. That’s really being nit picky though!

Beds were very clean and comfortable. The staff was great and very friendly. Prompt about handling an uncomfortable situation.

The area seemed to be less than desirable. Neighbors across the hall were yelling at each other and there was a string smell of Marijuana in the hall. They were kicked out of facility for smoking in the hotel, etc. If you smoke weed, whatever, I don't care but when it permeates the halls and into nearby rooms that's a no for me. The smell was horrible in our room half the night.

Great prices, very affordable, which is nice for the area. I'm not sure what the rooms were like before the renovations, but the beds are comfy and the King rooms are very spacious. You can't beat the price for the location, busy area so most everything is close.

They do not accept dogs. As a healthcare traveler, I like to bring my dog with me on occasion. I would definitely stay here every weekend for work if it wasn't for the no pet policy.

I understand the rules have to be cleaned out the check out but when the travelers make reservation and they end up staying in those rooms for lease for three months I think they should make an exception for them to be able to check in earlier than 4 o’clock especially if they have to work the evening shift I was late going to work because I couldn’t check in until 4 o’clock which I had to be to work at 3 o’clock

Sparkling clean, nicely renovated, nice staff. Firm bed, which is what I prefer. Really nice alarm clock. I hope the hotel can keep up the good work because this is the type of hidden gem you hope to find on hotel booking websites.

Needs double curtains in the room for privacy if you're on the first floor. It's either indoor light or letting the whole world see you if you want daylight.

Freshly renovated clean and tidy. Ample parking. Feels safe and secure. Close to shopping and food. Practical amenities. Room layout

Carpets are black, difficult to see your socks, chargers and sort of don't brighten the toom. American bedframes are too high for my taste ...I never understood why a bed has to be so high.

There wasn't really breakfast, just a snack; apple, pop tart, granola bar. And coffee/juice.

For the price, it was extremely impressive. New and clean. I was very satisfied.

The rooms were up to date and extremely clean.. Beds was so comfortable my husband and I slept like babies .. lol.. so true .. Would highly recommend to anyone .. Front desk was very friendly and accommodated us a little early check in as I had outpatient surgery that day .. a Big Thank you to them for this ..
