Hampton Inn Charlottesville

Location was a bit difficult to find. The room was small but I was impressed with the usage of space. Love the pull out feature by beds & in bathroom. Shower was excellent! Beds & linens very comfortable. Air control unit was better than others..less noisy & kept good temperature. The breakfast area was very bright, clean & better than recent others places. Check in woman was very pleasant.

I really liked this room despite the narrow width. Good use of space by eliminating the full closet. As a CPAP user..there are MANY of us!! …I would like to see more options in hotels to hang up the CPAP hose during the night.. your pull out tray feature in this room was a good start in accommodating a CPAP.. please take it to the next level by learning what we need for these common devices; easily accessible outlets & a hook to take up the “slack” in the hose.

Breakfast was typical hotel food but was more than adequate. The location was good to easily get to where we wanted to go.

The dog barking and barking and barking in the room below us. The front desk did take care of the problem in a timely fashion but I’m not sure why the rooms allowing dogs are not together on the first floor. Also, not certain why you would leave a dog alone in a hotel room.

Breakfast was very nice. The selection was good and it was being refilled when necessary in a timely manner.

The computer system was down and we were told that we would not be able to check in. Since we were in the area for a wedding, this was not acceptable. Once the matter was discussed, were were able to check in because of a print out that was available. So in the end it turned out wonderful!

I think it was all good, the staff was very polite, and they knew what they were doing, no matter what their job was. I didn't expect the breakfast to be open, but it was, and the food was very good and the lady that was in charge was OUTSTANDING, we told her about the coffee being cold and she went right over and corrected it. Sorry that I didn't get her name, she was very nice.

Nothing that I can think of, one thing update your emails as of the breakfast being open.

The staff was excellent. The room was clean and quiet. Complimentary breakfast was very good. Location was perfect with easy access to routes 29 and 250. Very pet friendly!

The room was smaller than I expected but it was everything we needed. No refrigerator. Limited clothes storage with no drawers and few places to hang clothes.

Every question I had Sean had the answer in addition to directions and suggestions. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and we always had someplace to sit to eat. Would defintely recommend the Hampton Inn and would stay there again.

Would have liked to stay longer, but we had other commitments.

The front desk staff was very friendly, not just with the patrons, but with each other. You could tell they all got a kick out of working there. The breakfast staff was also super friendly. Great job!

The price was pretty high, but all room rates in Charlottesville were very high that weekend. I would like a stay at the Hampton Inn to be in the 100's not 200's.

The breakfast was very good. The General manager of the hotel is doing a great job. The hotel is spotless. The pool super clean and the plants and flowers well cared for. I noticed the employees chip in during breakfast by busing tables this includes the Manager and Front Desk Lady. The housekeeper knocked on my door to alert me my door to the room was not closed all the way and that was most appreciated that she cared about my safety.I am a Hilton Member and realty liked the linens and pillows on the bed. I look forward to staying there again. Leslie Wolff

They provide a good breakfast. The rooms are new and clean. The location is convenient and the front desk was efficient. The beds were also very comfortable.

The room seemed smaller than most hotels rooms. While it had two queens, it was tight inside. The bathroom doors are sliding "barn doors" and don't provide as much privacy as normal doors that close. The staff started knocking on doors at 9:30 am on a Sunday.

The email from Booking.com that said the breakfast was not being offered due to conditions (presumably pandemic?) was incorrect. That note is an old note - probably more than a year old. We ask the manager and they said they have been trying to have Booking.com correct that error for months to no avail.
