Red Roof Inn Charlottesville

The breakfast was good, the staff were amazing and the room was mostly clean. The shower was amazing, water pressure was just right and I did not get burnt from scolding hot water.

I picked up the remote for the t.v and it was disgusting. I know there is still covid and illnesses going around, and am pretty sure it was hiding in that remote. I did clean it off with soap because it was that bad. It made me wonder what else was not cleaned in the room. The door did not close tightly behind me when I walked out and I didn't realize that, so when I went back in I was worried that someone went in without my knowledge.

Room was updated, clean, and comfortable. I liked the "instant" hot water in the shower. The breakfast buffet was quite nice; better than I'd expected. Staff members were friendly, and the location was convenient (right off the 29/250 bypass).

I didn't like the soap and shampoo dispensers; would have preferred "old fashioned" individual soaps and a small bottle of shampoo. (In particular, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty, and the others weren't very "generous".) I had to return to the front desk on the 2nd and 3rd nights of my stay, to get the keys "reauthorized" (but the staff member on duty was pleasant and helpful). The parking spaces seem tighter than average.

This motel is close to UVA. The room was clean and everything seemed fresh. There was soap, shampoo, and lotion dispensers in the bathroom area.

Location was a bit sketchy, although you can't make your neighbors maintain their properties. Some of the guests were noisy. Parking was at a premium as the motel seemed full. The continental breakfast was lacking in choice--very limited selection compared to other hotels I've stayed in, but, I didn't expect their to be a great selection with the price I paid for the room. Ya get what ya pay for.

Great location that is easily found and convenient for travelers. Clean, not fancy room with nice beds. Although on major highways was not noisy. Elevator on end of row for upper levels was nice option. Plenty of hot water for shower in nice bathroom. I was very tired from long drive in stormy weather. A good night's sleep was followed by continental breakfast. Nice, friendly staff too.

Minor: The TV didn't get a signal so not watched. This was not a problem for me as I was exhausted and slept great. (I didn't ask the front desk about it. No doubt it was just a cable not connected or something else minor.

I was really shocked at the room for the price. It was clean,and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The AC was cold, and it was 100 today, I actually had to turn it down. I felt safe, traveling with a child. I will diff in stay again and have a UVA appt coming up. For the price, it's a win!

The elevator had pee smell. No pool. Parking was tight for my truck.

the staff at check in and check out were friendly. the room was clean. bed was very comfortable. tv worked well. bathroom was clean and water pressure and temperature were great in shower. not a lot of outside noise. mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room but did not use. convenient location

outside is a bit dated still, parking was tight.

I was surprised how clean the room was for a Red Roof Inn. Nice up-to-date furniture, comfortable bed. C'ville can be a little pricy so the affordable rate for the room was much appreciated.

Curtains didn't close as completely as I would've liked. That's my only complaint, otherwise the stay was fine.

The room was clean and the amenities (microwave, mini fridge, etc.) were in good working order. I personally have a fear of bed bugs, but this establishment has three layers on top of the mattresses which gives good peace of mind.

The traffic noise at night was a little loud at times, but this motel is directly next to an interstate turnpike.

Location was everything and God bless Brenda who is a very awesome and sweet front desk clerk. Brian is also a sweetheart. Always greeting with a smile and two of the realest people I have meet in this not so good town. Them two deserve a bonus for their great customer service.

The beggers, will just leave that there.

Location is close to my doctor, and it is clean with refrigerator and micro . After Dr visit I'm exhausted, so I like to stay in. Freezer worked this time, but didn't previously. They listen .

I have a special diet without soy, so i cant eat what's offered. It has noise, but that is ok for me.
