Holiday Inn Express Fairfax-Arlington Boulevard, an IHG Hotel

Everything was very clean , I when I arrived to hotel they front desk told me they only see a reservation for one room I told the receptionist I booked 2 rooms via booking.com after 10 min the receptionist told me he found my second reservation but someone already check in for it, I told them that can't be correct because all members of my reservation traveled with me and we just got there at that time 5pm to be exact 😒 them the receptionist talked to the manager and the were able to check me in for my 2 rooms.

Security, people going there checking in for wrong reservations is not ok.

Reasonably priced hotel near highways, the airport, George Mason University, and Fairfax. I took a family member to look at a university and didn't spend much time in the hotel except to sleep. The room was clean, everything in the room worked, good water pressure in the shower. It was conveniently located to other places we needed to go. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The internet worked well - I streamed a TV show without any interruption. The TV in the room has plenty of channels and options.

I don't have any complaints. The outside of the building and the hallways look a little worn. That didn't affect the stay.

Our first room was on the front floor but we kept getting woke up around 230a by staff doing laundry...bed was uncomfortable too but the manager and front desk staff were kind enough to move us to another room on the 4th floor....so we really appreciated that

More options for breakfast...like bacon and hashbrowns...juice machine was broken

Despite some bad reviews, I enjoyed my stay! It was quite and the location was great! Across the hotel, there is Amazon Fresh and there is also Red Lobster next to the hotel! The breakfast wasn’t bad at all! The room was clean.

Small scale expensive hotel at affordable price. The low price of my room fooled me into thinking this would be just an average hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Renovated room and everything seemed clean and fresh. When I stepped off the elevator it smelled of fresh carpet. The staff was nice and breakfast was plentiful. Close to Metro station and the interstate.

The driveway is shared with Red Lobster. Its a little confusing when using google maps because you have to make a turn then a quick turn into that lot. Everything else was fine.

we needed a room close to the elevator. I forgot to add a note on booking, and called about an hour before we arrived. The front desk was very accommodating, and had a choice of rooms ready when we arrived. very grateful!

Loved the breakfast quality and variety. Hotel and room was very clean. LOVED the fact that coffee maker and microwave is available in the room. There is also free coffee in the lobby.

Very clean room and bath. Excellent breakfast. Great staff.

The A/C-heating unit was very loud. The window glasses were not sound proof, too much noise coming from the road.

Rooms were fresh. Front desk staff was great. Had a change in days needed to be in area (actual stay days were higher rated)they changed my reservation and kept me at original rate!!

Renovations taking place knocked out the breakfast room,but a carry out bag was offered to compensate. So it was minor inconvenience for folks counting on that.

Breakfast was very good. A good variety of food. Location was very good. Close to grocery and restaurants and Rt 66.
