so clean snd rooms well made up. the staff person the night we arrived was very pleasant. the person in the morning less so.

we accidentally brought our little dog to what we thought was a dog friendly hotel. the staff the night before did not notice. the next morning the front desk person was quick to let me know but could have been kinder as it was an honest oversight that was not noticed the night before. our dog is 12 pounds so not a real issue but I did understand her facts. just could have been handled much better as I apologized but that did not seem to matter and we could not change the fact we had stayed overnight

the location. I no longer live in va as of last month but it’s close to my kids. about 10 mins. staff was good when checking in.

there was a smell in the whole room that was disgusting. smelled like mildew of some form. maybe cuz of weather and old carpet possibly. I try not to be difficult but if paying for something and it showed 9 rating. I have to wonder if ratings are true. also I know when I lay on a bed and there is something wrong. I felt I slept with bed bugs. I didn’t see them but was itching and felt bitten. I do have the bites to confirm all night so I went and grab the towels and laid on the bed slept like that. I was fine after that.

The front desk staff, both pm and am, were extraordinarily friendly. The gentleman, whose name I forget, perhaps the owner, was both super friendly but equally as interesting as well as sincerely interested, in his customers. Another front desk staff member, again whose name I forget, literally came from behind the desk to give me a hug because I was very upset- missing my mom terribly on Mother's Day. The gentleman who maintained the breakfast buffet, AGAIN, was so friendly I could have stayed and exchanged conversation with him for days. I highly recommend this perfectly located and perfectly priced hotel. Thank you to everyone who made my Mother's Day weekend wonderful - even being without my mom. TONS of food, a microwave and wafflemaker available, food ready early in the morning, all staff super friendly, lobby area comfortable spacious and clean, a desk with computer and printer available. elevator large and safe and easily accessible.

the air conditioner was a little loud but tolerable. bathtub was a little old looking but not too bad. could have used a little bit more drawer space, but there was an entire closet I never even opened.

Fast access from highway, and quiet at the same time. Within walking distance to some great food choices. Decent basics breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, yoghurt, muffins, coffee, tea). Nice people. Overall, good choice for the price, I would stay again.

AC fan noisy (not any different than other hotels); had to turn it off overnight. Room had some stale, polluted smell; I would venture to guess it came from the AC filter/grills not being cleaned in a long time.

The location was great! Being the night before our wedding, it was an amazing night's sleep. We loved that we were able to walk to the restaurant to eat and come back to an awesome bed that was so comfortable we almost didn't get up on time.

Another great stay, easy check in and check out. Overall I enjoy staying here as it close to the locations that I need to visit while I am in town. Very quiet hotel despite being between two very busy roads.

This is the second time that the internet was out when I checked in, so the staff had to check in via a cell phone. While not the hotel's fault or the fault of the employee, it was point of concern. Fortunately the internet was restored shortly after I checked into my room.

The woman at the front desk was extraordinarily helpful, as I had booked the wrong date for my stay at the hotel. She was able to correct it for me without an extra charge, which I really appreciated. The main worker at the continental breakfast was so friendly and genuine. The staff were truly incredible. Room was big.

There were some sketchy people staying at the hotel. There were some families, but also some characters that looked like they hadn't been sleeping for days. Right outside our room (outside of the hotel) there was a man clearly on hard drugs shouting, "Wooooooo!" between 3:30-5am. It was very bizarre and annoying.

Room very clean. Great location. Breakfast good. What we liked the most was Sama!!! Girl at the desk. She was so so sweet and you need to give her a raise because of her we would come back. A doll !

Nothing. It was perfect !

when we initially checked in, we had booked a King bed but none were available so we were put in a room with two queens. the staff kept an eye on the computer and was able to move us into the king on our second day and made sure we were comfortable.
