Value, location and staff. Value- The price of our 2 night stay was reasonable out of all the hotels specially near the downtown Fredericksburg. Location- Amaizing! Gas stations, restaurants, and family activities are walking distance to the hotel. Staff - I spoke to them when I check in and check out. Pleasant exchange of conversation,and informative.

Cleanliness and appearance Cleanliness - not the best but they hit the main parts of the room. The blow dryer handle was not clean and the bottom of the tub shower showed the appearance of mineral stain from the water. Both are not too concerning to me. I didn't use the hair dryer. Appearance - the outside is clean, I saw the maintenance guy every day cleaning the parking lot. Inside the room, looks good at first glance. Then I saw the standard base cabinet, the drawers below the microwave were damaged (it looked like the veneer was pulled/scrapped off by something) and they covered it up by staining over. The hanger rod showing rust stains.

It was as expected for a 2 star motel. Location off the interstate was good. There were a fair number of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. WIFI was reliable.

The charge for our two cats ($50.00) seems awfully high. Especially since we would have been charged for any damage they did in addition to the fee to let them stay there. It certainly wouldn't cost an average of $50.00 to clean up after cats under normal usage. Towels could have been a bit better. They were small and rough.

I like the property. It was very clean and the staff was nice.

The one thing that stood out was a random charge on my credit card for $3.32 which I’m assuming was for pool towels? We weren’t told that we were going to be charged for them. I very nice woman told us that we could go to the office and get some, not that they costed anything. It’s only $3 but we would have liked to be able to accept or decline the towels due to that.

I did not go to breakfast because I am diabetic and needed protein so I went to a diner.

My TV remote did not work even after I went to the front desk to ask for batteries. I am not sure that the batteries were any good because the clerk got them out of another remote sitting in the drawer. There were no new, fresh batteries at the desk, and the clerk did not know where to get them. I would expect that there would be shelves of them available for such a big hotel. I also had to unplug the airconditioner unit because when I turned it off, it kept blowing very cold air, and the temp would not adjust to warmer temp.

Excellent staff! The little restaurant next to the hotel was outstanding. Service was a little slow, but, everything was prepared to order and fresh, including all the meats and vegetables. The wait was definitely worth it. It's worth saving your appetite until you get to the hotel and try this place out. Also, a very nice breakfast area with a wide selection of foods.

The location is in a very commercial area but I was able to sleep well. Didn't even hear people leave in the morning. The facility is a rectangle with a pool, well kept greenery and a pavilion. Laundry room. Make you own waffles.

Those darn speed bumps. Next to a fire station so could periodically get noisy. I went to get breakfast a few minutes before the ending time and found almost nothing. Waffle batter thrown away, all other food options gone, counters cleaned. Fruit Loops and some other cereal available. When a time is posted, breakfast should be available until that time. With waffles to look forward to, a late riser such as myself will sacrifice a little sleep time in order to get to the breakfast room inside the time window. So, please, waffles, etc available til the stated time. They freeze. :)

Registration process and staff very accommodating. Breakfast room very pleasant, little Easter eggs on tables to make it look homey. Breakfast was nicely put together and staff willing to help.

Noisy location, numbers on units extremely difficult to read so had difficulty finding our unit despite it being daylight. Interior of unit needs upgrading. Wall paper in bathroom coming apart.

The location and the pet policy i liked

Just the age and the a/c heater made a lot of noise that disturbed my dog. There was a loud motorcycle outside revving its engine in parking lot at around 2:30am. It woke me up and the dog.

Good restaurants close by. Good breakfast. Good location.

Our room was on the first floor near parking. I think this room was used a lot... Needs a few repairs... It was hard to change the temperature on A-C/heater, the buttons were hard to change... I reported it to the front desk.

Very pet friendly, my puppy is timid and they had a large grass area mostly fenced in. Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect for our needs, hot waffles, sausage, eggs, cereal, fruit yogurt ect..

Everything was wonderful in my opinion
