SpringHill Suites by Marriott Richmond North/Glen Allen

The room was spacious and very accommodating. Although the window faced the main road, the room darkening blinds made for a comfortable sleep. Heard people in the hallway more than I heard traffic noises.

While traveling for business I don't require much, usually just a bed. The receptionist/clerk was so expressive about the breakfast and it being complimentary I had to check it out at 7A the next morning. I was not impressed. Being on a strict KETO diet the only item I could have was a paper cup of juice. Most people have forgone the calorie loaded carbs presented by the rolls, scones, muffins and such provided. I did not notice any fruit options or simple bacon strips. Although coffee was provided - there was no tea or hot water. This was not up to Marriott standards and the whole breakfast area was dirty and needing tables wiped down. The young man tending the area was oblivious to the guests as he flirted with a young lady that worked behind the reception area.

I loved the breakfast!! to say the least lol… everyone was super friendly. my fiancée and I stayed on New Year’s Eve and staff was super kind even having to work on a holiday. I loved the ceiling fan in the room and this is by far one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been to! hot tub and pool working and was nice to hang out in for some kick back time before stepping out . which the area the hotel is located in is perfect. you have everything you can think of and even about 8 miles away is a wal mart if you can’t pick between the million shops that’s are located right outside the hotel!! great job would def stay again!!

The grab and go breakfast was good and felt safe with COVID. The room was clean and it was easy to get more items we needed, like towels or tissue.

Even though there were signs everywhere stating masks required in public places, nobody, including staff, wore them. If an employee did have a mask it was almost always around their chin.

The staff was amazing and the room was spacious.

The beds were uncomfortable, and the tub bottom is too rounded. There is no flat bottom and I was afraid of falling. The toilet seat was flimsy and folded when I sat on it. A few improvements are needed. The thermostat battery was dead and the AC was running continually. We needed to call for maintenance to avoid freezing. They did come very promptly and fixed the thermostat.

I stayed here overnight to take an early morning exam at the local test center. It could have been a really stressful stay given the circumstances, but everything was well taken care of, clean, and comfortable. I enjoyed the hot tub and appreciated the choice of drinks and snacks in the lobby market area. Made for a smooth and all inclusive stay.

There were a couple of less impressive parts of our stay, including the front desk attendant who (though professional) wasn’t warm and seemed annoyed in general to be working. The door handle to my King room bathroom was also busted and the ceiling over the shower needed to be cleaned up or replaced from excessive moisture. Otherwise, the property was in excellent condition.

From the staff to the amount of room in the room it was all great! It was like a brand new hotel it was so clean! They provided adequate towels and wash cloths . The pool was open 8a-10p and was nice! It was luke warm (70ish) and the hot tub was relaxing! plenty of areas to walk the dog outside to use the bathroom. The breakfast was complimentary and consisted mostly of muffins, cereals, and Jimmy Dean biscuits. Would have liked some fresh options and/or some toast and butter.

The beds were rather small. The pillows were horrible and housekeeping came at 8am knocking on each door.

This hotel was great, we really enjoyed ourselves, the staff was exceptional. The rooms were an awesome size. The tv/cable exceeded expectations. The pool area could have been cleaner, there was a cardboard box covering something up, the pool water was cloudy and the hot tub water was really dirty, but the kids didn't care and still had a good time. The lobby and breakfast were excellent. Overall I definitely would stay again. Thank you!

Dirty pool/hot tub! The rooms aren't as sound proof, and you can hear everytime someone was in the hallway!

Indoor Hot tub & Pool when it was snowing outside nice, bed was comfortable, liked being able to see my vehicle from the window (Tools in my truck) never lost hot water during long showers, location to dining and shopping was GREAT, all in all it was a nice weekend getaway with my one and only....

I'm a HUGE food person, I may only weight 155-160 but I eat ALL DAY LONG, and was hoping to score some snacks during breakfast for the rest of the day but the selection was lack-luster at best....

Our room was so nice for a week stay. We went with some friends from other places around America for our yearly meetup and it gave us a lot of privacy but still kept us feeling like home. Breakfast was decent, but the best part was how nice our room was.

Our room was fabulous but our friends room wasn’t. They had a hole in the wall, one of their cabnets broke and their ac didn’t work. We didn’t have any problem with our room, besides the toilet being a little weird.

The maintenance on the rooms and facilities are starting to decide. The location of the bed and the HVAC room unit. In the photo the unit is under the window. The bed is two feet from the unit.
