Everyone I interacted with was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I've been traveling for three months, mostly staying in AirBnBs, and it was so fun to have a full service hotel where people actively took care of me and my two dogs. They specifically put you on the bottom floor so it's easy to get in and out, there is dedicated green space outside, and it's a lovely property to walk around. My bed was really comfortable, the desk chair made it easy to get my work done, the breakfast buffet was first rate, and The Tavern restaurant was a great place to end the day.

Nothing, it was a great stay. I read some other reviews about the staff and cleanliness, and that was not my experience at all.

The room was clean. I loved the onsite restaurant, bar and happy hour. I didn't see any bugs! It was pet friendly with a lot of land to walk your fur babies.

I didn't like the room smell. It was a pet room and should've had laminate or hard wood floors. The carpet held a musky smell. The rooms didn't have enough light. The lighting was very dim except in the bathroom. I didn't like the side doors wouldn't open with a badge. We had to walk all the way around to the front every time we had to go out. The pool was dirty.

The Virginia Crossings Hotel is a beautiful place in a calm and spacious colonial setting. The rooms are large, clean, and quiet, and the beds very comfortable. You can hear the highway a bit, but this is normal since you’re next to it. This proximity is quite convenient when traveling like us. The breakfast buffet offered a good choice of food (fresh fruit, porridge, eggs, breakfast meat, grits, etc.) and another family ordered waffles. The service was good as well. We could see the very nice pool and hot tub, as well as geese on the lawn from the breakfast building, which was enjoyable. My six year old suggested we move there 😊 I would most definitely recommend this hotel and visit again.

Nothing in particular. I only noted that the elevator was a bit outdated. I also did not see a hair dryer in the bathroom, but it wasn’t an inconvenience to us.

Not what you picture when you think ‘hotel’. The property looks more like it could be a very small private school. Beautiful grounds. There are three buildings, one for registration and I believe where conferences are held and separate buildings each for guest accommodations and dining. We stayed here to and from our vacation destination, both one night, late check-ins, just a stop over to sleep. Close to I-95 and pet friendly. Room (got the same room both stays) was clean. Small, but served the purpose for three adults and two dogs, one 64 lbs, one 9 lbs. The few staff we ran into were friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

No microwave in the room.

Great location. good sized rooms. quiet. good amenities. breakfast was really great!

We were put on the 5th floor with 2 small dogs, and only 1 elevator in service during entire stay, this made taking them out for frequent walks/breaks a long and complicated process. There were also a lack of signs throughout the estate, we frequently found ourselves getting lost. our room had an abundance of dust behind and under the TV/dresser that needs be cleaned and was not very welcoming to find.

Breakfast Buffet which was extra but very good-BEST scrambled eggs ever on a buffet or any restaurant-excellent bacon and breakfast potatoes and fresh fruit-good coffee and exceedingly good service- was a little disappointed there wasn’t more variety-would love to have had waffles which i was expecting based on menu i saw online but none to be had-but still overall good value for price $15 per person

the entrance floor at the back of the lodging building was the basement which was next to the laundry room so was Hot-also the air freshener used in the rooms was a bit overwhelming at first until we got used to it-also people were allowed to bring their dogs into the hotel and walking down halls with them which is fine without allergies but not so fine for people who do-also, they were having a wedding at the hotel during our stay and it made eating at the Tavern impossible for us since the very loud music at the reception was adjacent to the restaurant so we opted to go elsewhere and almost missed the opening to do so -restaurant was closing in 15 minutes when we were able to get there - just in time- it just would have been nice to know ahead of time

The only problem I see is that the hot water in the shower was dangerously hot. It was a good thing I checked the water by hand before I jumped in. I am familiar with the symmons shower valve that was in the shower and they have an internal set screw that could regulate the temperature to not go over a certain degree. The maximum setting in Massachusetts is 110 degrees in a tub\shower, which is plenty hot. I suggest you have your maintenance man set the temperature limit before someone get seriously burned.

We were in Richmond for the night and for our stay we booked our stay at Virginia Crossings Hotel. Virginia Crossings has many buildings which included Registration for the hotel, Hotel and the event hall too. We first went for the registration and got the keys for the room. In the hotel building we got our room at fifth floor and it also had elevators which was very helpful. When we went inside the room, it was clean as well as included all the necessary required amenities as well as comfortable and spacious rooms. The bed was also comfortable which was necessary for a good sleep after a hiking day. There are also restaurants in the complex through which one can get the required breakfast as well as dinner. The hotel is very close to the downtown Richmond and it helps everyone to get all food required. I would recommend this hotel if you want to stay for a single night or maybe multiple nights. The prices are reasonable too.

large room, clean, comfortable bed & pillows, convenient hotel close to I95 (when driving to & from Florida).

the breakfast was extremely disappointing and not worth the price. I’ve stayed here before and had a great experience. Now I found most of the items in the buffet breakfast not replenished, eggs that taste and look like powdered eggs (something other than real eggs), sugary cereal choices. Just not a good breakfast for $14/person.

Great value for the price. I would have paid more for that hotel than what we were charged. We will definitely be back again as a stopover between destinations for our travels south.

The automatic doors for our building could have worked better to make it easier to get in and out with luggage. The sensor didn't work every time and the doors were heavy to hold open while pushing a trolley.
