Excellent. Do not hesitate to book this place. Clean, well taken care of, staff seem around building working hard. King bed was comfortable with a lot of pillows. Great heated indoor pool that was open generous hours - early and late and towels provided in pool area,. Breakfast typical fare, had a fun pancake machine that kids appreciated but was tricky to use. Nice decorative statutes around ground floor added a classy and caring feel. Excellent proximity to highway - less than 5 mins, a restaurant and gas stations on same block.

Really nothing objectionable and would stay here again. A few nit picks - bathroom shower curtain looked like recently used (wet at the bottom like some had taken a shower), tub was clean but stains; Livingroom missing sofa maybe - just an ottoman left on side of the room (ok for us bc we were just there for quick overnight pit stop).

it was a bit run down, the TV cabinet had broken doors etc. but over all it was really clean and nice stop over on ones travels. the location was excellent and had a lot around it to grab a quick dinner, or pick up items at the walmart up the street, gas stations right there. again its a a great stop over to get a good nights sleep. There is a 7-11 up the street that has some of the best baked cookies have to try and the place to eat right next to the hotel is an old train station, breakfast is really good. but there is a Cracker Barrel and a steak place right there also.

really again nothing was bad at all, its a great stop over hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located with good food choices near by and easy access to I81. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.

I was not pleased that the elevator seemed to be on its last leg. It was making an awful sound when it was going up or down and gave me a fear that I was going to be stuck. The coffee maker in my room was missing the piece that the coffee filter went in, so I had to get dressed and go downstairs to get my coffee before I could shower and get ready for my day.

Great location and good price. Pet fee was very reasonable. Staff was very friendly. Good area to walk dog in back. Room was comfortable and breakfast was good. It’s a great half way point on our way down to NC and we were so happy with it that we stayed here on our way back up. There are train tracks in back of the motel and our room was on the track side but no train came by. We don’t mind trains so either way it was ok! We will be back!

It’s a bit on the older side but is well maintained so really didn’t mind this.

Located right off 81 & next to a local family restaurant. Our room was very clean & quiet. We did have a room overlooking the train tracks & a train did go by at 4:00am. You could definitely hear it, but we used it as a “get up & hit the road” alarm. Both check in & out desk staff were very helpful & pleasant. We did not stay for breakfast but did get a coffee to go. We are traveling with our two cats. Room was accommodating for them, beds have bottom walls to keep them from climbing under, which is a BIG Help! Would recommend this hotel to travelers, especially with pets.

An automatic front door, that opens/closes is highly needed. The existing front entrance did take 2 people to use with luggage cart. One to hold door open whiles the other pulled cart through. The doors are not handicapped accessible.

Easy off/on exit to I-81. Easy to locate. Room was very comfortable with view overlooking forest of trees. Bed was very comfortable. No noise from other rooms or from the street. The staff were all very accommodating. The pool was a bonus; very clean and no one else using it.

The water temperature in the pool was a little on the warm side. Also, using the ladders to get into the pool were a little difficult. There were no treads on the steps and it was easy to slip. Would have liked to have had eggs included into the breakfast bar. No restaurants nearby but lots of wine vineyards within a 30-minute drive. We visited the Trump Vineyards which were beautiful; the wine very good; and they served delicious sandwiches, etc.

The location is very conveniently located right off the highway and near many places to eat. We enjoyed the heated pool that was inside. We found the beds to be comfortable, and the room was spacious. Staff encounters were welcoming and helpful.

Though it did NOT spoil the room, we did not learn there was a "train side" of the building until we checked in. The staff is very up front about this. It's just something to consider when booking. We still slept comfortably, even if we woke a few times. The first room we were assigned to had not been cleaned yet; however, housekeeping staff in the hallway was very helpful and went to the front desk herself to get us a new room.

Everything was great. The staff, the breakfast and room was very clean.

I was told when booking with 3rd parties such as booking. com the special requests arent sent to the hotel. We requested the 1st floor and booking. com replied that the hotel will meet our request at no extra charge; however when we arrived they did not have that message and gave us the 3rd floor. Luckily they had a 1st floor room available on the "train track" side and fortunatetly no trains came through that night

I always like the choice in breakfast options. Friendly staff and the rooms are always well maintained. I enjoy my time at Best Western when I am in town. Marquita and the lady who worked the late shift on Sunday night were awesome (taller African American woman). The woman who helps in the breakfast room is lovely.

The man at the desk was very welcoming, spoke clearly and explained everything. We were pleased that we didn't get a room on the train side - big plus! Slept very well!

Bathroom is a bit tired - could use some new grouting, but efficient.
