Holiday Inn Express Stephens City, an IHG Hotel

Great location, rooms were very clean, front desk staff are very friendly.

Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30. I was there at 9:00am. No one was replenishing the food. Housekeeping was down there getting food right after me, so the room guest that came down at 9:10, after them did not get much to eat. My opinion is that, housekeeping should not be allowed to eat the food until breakfast is over. The food should be for the guest since we are the ones paying for it. After 9:30 housekeeping can eat all they want.

Beds were comfortable overall better than I expected from the reviews. I wanted to cancel because of the unfavorable reviews but couldn't without losing the night stay. I was pleasantly pleased with the condition of the hotel. Breakfast was good and hot. The breakfast attendant was a kind and hardworking.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The floors especially needed cleaned better.

Pool was closed and was not told ahead of time 2nd floor has a weight room and sign says vending as well. There is no vending. We saw it on the way out and it's on first floor. To bad we saw that so late.

I slept so well, my room was comfortable and convenient. When I needed to make a change in my reservation, staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was delightful. All staff that I encountered was excellent. The employee at the front desk went out of her was to help me, twice, I really appreciated her kindness!

I liked that my family and I didn't have to worry about leaving the room everytime we had a need that should be provided as a decent and well cared stay away. How it's amazingly children friendly and no complaining about a child being a child. Harder then you think to find these days. As a mother with a child that has special needs I can't find a place to go without a complaining judgmental person making a (@$$) of them selves. Sorry. I thank you very much for a fun and much needed little get away. Awesome 👍

Check in was great, the person at the desk was very friendly and loved my dog. They had dog treats on hand as well! The love-seat thing in my room was comfy, and well designed for someone who wanted to work on their laptop while watching TV.

We had some loud guests on my floor. Also, getting a room that didn't have an adjoining suite might have been better, as we could hear each other through the door a little bit.

Very good breakfast, I am working the night shift while here and it's nice to receive a healthy breakfast in the morning. The breakfast changes from day to day and the selection is great.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Bed, blanket and pillows were very comfy. Nice big TV. Lighting in room was neat and not a typical ceiling light.

The soap in bathroom dispenser was empty. Breakfast was not good. Heated frozen sandwich, yogurt, orange, cereal and oatmeal were options. You had to ask for everything for breakfast instead of a sign or display. Either way breakfast was not filling.

Very nice and clean accommodation, our room was well equipped (fridge, microwave, coffee machine), with a huge and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast, definitely can recommend staying here.
