I loved the location, and quality of the room was outstanding! The customer Service was excellent, we were greeted each time we came through the lobby with a amile and hello! The check=in process and check-out was very quick and pleasant! The room was spacious and very clean, housekeeping on task and took care of ours needs. Everyone very friendly from staff to guests in the hotel. the hotel was across the street from local convinent store, breakfast place literally within a few stepsfrom hotel, that was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

The fact that the resturant and pool were not open at the time of our stay. Would have like to particiapte in both the pool and the resort stay as well having food and pool avaliable.

The location on the beach was a great spot. Not too crowded and near plenty of shops. The staff was friendly.

The room was too dark. All of the lamps didn't have bulbs and we requested lightbulbs but never got any. The freezer part of the fridge was iced and needed thawing.

Excellent view, jacuzzi, bed comfortable, easy access to beach events.

Lock on balcony door was broken when we arrived. Reported it to front desk once discovered, never repaired during our stay. No clock, bath tub had brown stains.

The location was amazing, the hotel is truly in the heart of Virginia Beach, you are so close to all the fun stuff! And the view from the balcony is so great, nothing better than ocean front. The room was comfortable and a good size and most importantly clean. The air conditioner worked so good and kept us nice and cool! The check in process was easy, and they even let us check in at 2pm instead of 3pm which was so nice as we got there earlier than expected. They were also kind to let us check out a little later. Parking was easy.

The pool was just okay, nothing fancy and kind of small. Although it is nice that it is outside facing the ocean so you have a view while you’re swimming. But there is no umbrellas or tables, a pool bathroom where you can rinse off/change, or a pool bar. Which isn’t terrible, would just make it nicer! They also don’t have a restaurant at all, or even a breakfast which was a bummer. They do have vending machines but they are kind of expensive ($3 for one soda). The hallways were also a little small, it was pretty tight trying to squeeze all our luggage and beach cart around the corners. It could use some updating overall. But I’ll trade all that for the view we had from our room and the overall location.

The property is older but they have worked to make the place look nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. The room was large for comparable rooms at the beach. The beds were brand new and very comfortable. The room was chilled nicely when we entered with no scent of moist staleness that you get at some summertime beachfront hotels. All the textiles were good quality (sheets, blankets, towels). They are strict about no smoking and that was great! We liked the option to park under the hotel as that felt better than outside near Atlantic Ave. Prime location near the pier. A clean, comfortable no-frills property which is perfect for beachgoers who spend little time in the room. Overall: Awesome! Will stay there again.

The pillows were pretty basic (sort of flat and not easily bendable). They got the job done but compared to the bed which was awesome, they left us wishing for a little better.

On our way, we received a text, that the elevator(only one elevator at The Breakers) had broken down, no idea when or if it would be repaired & that we could cancel with a full refund. But since we were an hr away, we chose to show up & see what floor we were on & any updates. The repair person was on the way & sounded confident it could be fixed so we did a little drive around VA beach, returned & it was fixed. Our room was on the 2nd floor but it was on the end, which that section was like cut back into the building & we couldn't see the pier, which was pretty close. The staff was able to change our room, yay! The beds were queen sz and on the soft side, but they were high in my opinion. I'm 5'7" & my partner is 5'11" & we both had to hike our leg/hip up to get in the bed & literally roll ourselves to the place we wanted to be. So if you have children or an elderly person or on the shorter sz, you might want to bring a foldable step stool. There were 4 like half sz pillows, thank goodness I brought my own from home. There was the typical small fridge, which kept everything cold, even actually froze some things cause since there was no freezer section, we wanted everything to be cold, so we cranked it up. There's no breakfast served. Room service was great, making the beds, new towels, shampoo & lotion daily, except for the last full day. After they replaced a few towels, I had to call the desk cause they never made the beds, forgot the washcloths & a roll of toilet paper. If we can't find a similar place to stay next year, we have no problem staying here again. I give the desk persons an A+, cleanliness an A+ and location close to the pier an A+

All the corridors/hallways and elevator was extremely hot. We sweated more going in and out of the building, than on the beach. I feel they need to invest in a stronger tint on the windows in the hallways that the sun blares through and to put AC in the hallways and elevator. They have you sign a paper that if one smokes on their smoke free establishment, you're charged $250. Well, every day, we smelled either smoke or weed. We couldn't tell which floor or balcony it was coming from. Thank goodness the AC didn't suck it into the room or we would've had to complain. I think they need to "patrol" once in awhile to back up their "threat".

Room was freshly remodeled and done very well. The restaurant closed. Hotel access to the boardwalk was limited (had to walk down auto ramp).

We got there about 2pm. Our room was ready so we went up tossed our bags inside. Did a quick look over and went out. Got back to the room and the jacuzzi wouldn't work! The awesome desk clerk came up tried to fix and said you know what yall getting up graded! We went to a penthouse room on the top floor and it was AMAZING! we've had issues at other hotels and they just want to give a partial refund..this guy didn't hesitate ONE second to move us and make sure we were happy! He made sure the jacuzzi was working and called the next morning to make sure we had a good night stay! Wish I knew his name but anyways yea I'll be back❤️❤️❤️❤️

1st room was a lil outdated and jacuzzi wouldn't work. But the problem was resolved in less than 20 mins!

Location was great! Close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Neptune was a bit down one way, and the pier was right outside. The other way led you to a great little park. Bed was very comfortable, room size was great! The jacuzzi tub was a perfect size for 2 people and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, even on the cooler days where it was a bit too cold to spend too much time at the beach. Right on a shipping lane so we enjoyed watching all the ships go by. Dolphins entertained us every morning. And it's right on the boardwalk so it was fun to people watch! All around a great little hotel.

Would have liked the room to be stocked with a couple more cups and more toilet paper so we didn't have to ask for more. I don't like leaving the room not knowing when room service would come, so we kept the do not disturb sign up when we were not in the room so no one would come into our room. I did leave a note for 2 days asking for more cups and toilet paper to be left by our door but never received any. It wasn't until I bumped into a room service attendant that I got what I needed and that was the night before we left. Also some of the front desk staff wasn't as friendly as I'd have liked. Some smiled and said hi, others didn't even acknowledge our presence.

The staff were polite and helpful. We were able to park our car in the Breakers lot before our check in, which was incredibly helpful. The room was exactly as viewed online. All the rooms face the ocean, and there's a long 1st floor to 8th floor window that allows you view the sunset. There's only the boardwalk between the hotel and the ocean, and it was nice to let the kids go play in the sand while I watched from my balcony.
