Candlewood Suites Winchester, an IHG Hotel

Love the rooms! They are so spacious with extra long desk so you can have your whole set up for work! There's a full fridge, although the last time we stayed in the exact location we only had a mini fridge, a dishwasher, and many kitchen necessities.

Only downside is the location, and wish there was more food near them, ideally in walking distance but still great overall.

Spent 3 nights here in a 1 bedroom suite.. and the room was beautiful!! Very clean and updated. Kitchen came with everything we needed (dishes, silverware, toaster and frying pan). And they have other items in the lending locker that you can check out and use.. We borrowed the waffle maker one morning for our breakfast and a boardgame another night. The staff was amazing, they were just the nicest people I've met at any hotel I've been too. They are very pet friendly too.. we brought our dog and rabbit with us. They even have a jar of doggy treats in the lobby which our Elly Mae loved after her potty walks! We are already planning our next trip back!!

It was very clean, the staff were excellent, and the water pressure was to *die* for. Our room had a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and a garbage disposal—we didn’t use any of them., but we thought it was cool. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing we struggled with was the thermostat, and I think that was mostly us being dumb. We figured it out in the end!

Nothing, it was amazing

The room was very spacious. It had a full kitchen, and the desk area was much larger than most hotels. The bed was comfortable. We liked the fitness center; it was very well equipped.

No breakfast offered, but that was not a game changer for us. With having a full refrigerator there and a microwave, we were able to fix our own breakfast, as well as our evening meal.

The staff was friendly, pleasant, attentive, and accommodating. Unfortunately we slept through breakfast so can’t comment on it.

I’m NOT complaining. If I to find a negative it’d have to be the cleanliness of the sofa. It definitely needs to be shampooed, but in my opinion it’s simply older and really should be replaced.

Comfy, very large king bed. Lots of space and counter/table space. Nice to have ice in the room with full refrigerator. Comfortable chairs. Very pleasant staff who welcomed our two small fluffy dogs.. Grounds with grassy areas cleaner than most.

Coffee maker did not stay on without some coercion. Reported to the desk when we checked out so it could be repaired/replaced. No hand soap or toiletries in room.

Love that the rooms have a full kitchen. Bathroom is very nice. Good location and pleasant and helpful staff. I also like that the washer and dryer are free.

The shower pressure is not very good, not much water coming from shower head and some shower head holes are clogged which prevents even more water from coming out.

When we checked in the staff at the front desk was wonderful and super helpful. She was knowledgeable and pointed us in the right direction when we asked for places to eat and visit around here. The hotel and the room itself was very clean and comfortable to be in. We will definitely be back if we come down this way again! Also, we got to see the famous cats!

The only thing was that there was stains on the bottom of the tub floor that made it look dirty. But that in no way ruined the stay.

Candlewood offers no breakfast. How large room was. Good price. Comfy bed is important to me.

I pay for the kitchen, regardless could offer breakfast to people. Candlewood Suites need ice machines! Even though there is a refrigerator ice isn't made very quickly. I end up going without, bringing ice from another motel or in some cases asking for ice at front desk but one never knows if this is offered.

Clean. Pet friendly. Comfortable beds and linen, Snacks and drinks avail all night in their little snack bar. Coffee avail 24/7. They have kitchen appliances avail like toasters ovens, Crock pot, and a few other items. Loved that laundry is FREE. Of course having full size refrigerator and a 2 burner stove, toaster, and a few pots, pans, bowls, etc. Close to everything. Staff is amazing. You can turn in your linen or towels for fresh ones at any time.
